I stayed at this apartment for 2 nights. There was no hotwater in the shower, the boiler stop working. i was not able to find instruction on boiler or the heat controller. There was instruction for kettle and iron. Contacted the owners once i left as i was sick having a cold shower at midnight and the owners did not seem to care. The refuse to give company address. Had to find it in Compines House. They refuse to put up my review. Consumer Direct has said they in breach of contact. If you had any problems contact Consumer Direct and its free. Best to call them as this speed up the progress and after calling 3th time they will transfer the case to Trading Standard who will investigate them and has the power to take them to court and this all free.

I stayed here for 2 nights. if i was you i would pick this as the last option. the shower was freezing even though i kept the boiler on for 10 hours still the shower was freezing. the bed was not a double bed it was a bit bigger than a single bed. it was a really bad stay and i will not stay there again.

Superbly clean and convenientSevern View was a great experience: somewhere between an amazingly clean college room and a Travelodge with a kitchen. Comfortable, spotless and anonymous, a great place to retreat to after a heavy evening's work (I'm a musician). Everything worked well, sofa bed was comfortable and linen clean. Breakfast prepared by me, when I liked! I wish there were a chain of these nationwide ... they'd have my custom frequently. Shame I only had one night there!

EXCELLENT QUALITY ACCOMMODATION - HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDThere is nothing I would change, it is beautifully clean and comfortable, very well equipped and I would have liked to have stayed longer!

Caerwent flatWe were most impressed by the pristine cleanliness and freshness of the flat, which was like new. It was comfortable and had all mod cons, apart from a freezer compartment in the fridge, which meant that we couldn't re-freeze our freezer bag blocks for our packed lunches. The sofa bed was also a bit hard to sleep on. We were told to park the car in bay 7 but so were two other guests! Not a problem though as there were other parking bays available and plenty of safe parking in the street. We enjoyed our stay there and I have already recommended this flat to colleagues. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place to rest your head!!very clean and tidy, perfect as a base to explore the surrounding (very beautiful) countryside. Only (very small) issue was that we couln't find a bottle opener!!

Severn View flat No3Although we only stayed 1 night the accomodation was very clean and tidy and seemed private. In general I was very satisfied with 1 exception, the description was a 'one bedroom apartment comprising of twin beds in the bedroom and a single sofa bed to lounge' what we arrived to was 1 double bed and single sofa bed in lounge. This still served the purpose but my reason for booking the room was for 2 single beds.

Severn View Flat 8The flat was clean and tidy, being a relatively new build property. Bedding and towels were provided and clean & fresh.A few minor quibbles:1. No storage for any clothing, coats etc - no hooks on backs of doors either.2. In the sitting room, no table of any description. Meals would have to be eaten standing up - there were two bar stools in the room but aside from a 9in shelf on top of the low wall separating kitchen area from seating area, no bar counter to sit at - although there was an alcove that could be suitably used to put one in.3. In the kitchen: no dishcloth, tea towel or oven mitts for handling hot dishes from the oven or microwave. Also, there could have been a drainer a perhaps a washing up bowl, which would serve to protect both the crockery & the stainless steel sink & top, which was still in a near new condition.4. In the bathroom: nowhere to hang anything - towels, bathrobes etc and no shelving of any description to put toiletries. Also, the extractor fan did not work.All in all, the accommodation was to a very good standard in a quiet location, convenient for the local area but let down a bit by a little lack of attention to the finer details.I was here on my own and so the minor inconveniences were not too much of a drama. However, if there had been two or more of us, these would have become very noticeable and would have probably become something of an irritation.If these minor issues were dealt with, then this would be excellent for a few days stay in the area for a couple or small family.

A new property in good condition with all facilities. Ideal as a stop over.Great for a couple with [or without!] one child.Situated quite close to a Roman village and about four miles from Chepstow. Good for Caldicott Castle, Chepstow and within travelling distance of Tintern Abbey, Usk, Monmouth and Abergavenny.If you wanted a spa you could go to the Celtic Manor Hotel.

excellent accommodationMyself and My partner recently stayed at this apartment for 1 night, it wasn't at all how we imagined, it was great definately would stay again, even considering booking there 4 bed accommodation so we're actually able to take out children. It was clean and tidy, easy to follow instructions for useage of appliances within the apartment and ideas of place to visit. had no problems with this apartment whats so every. excellent value for money too.

review of staying at severn viewunbelievably difficult to find DESPITE an address! i had to ring up because the flats did not anywhere have a sign saying 'severn view' to distinguish it from any other flats in the street. this was very confusing and unacceptable.

Good value country breakWe were really impressed with the quality of the accommodation for us as a couple with one teenager. For the price paid we were amazed at the spaciousness and it was pristine. The sofa bed was good quality for a lanky teenager to be very happy with, and the location was perfect for us to reach the places we wanted to go (Gloucestershire for a visit, St. Fagins for a lovely day out). If I had to report someting it would be that the toilet seat needs replacing, and the extract fand did not seem to be working, but these were minor items that wd be easily put right. The kitchen was better than my own at home!

Hnady for visiting South-East WalesTook our two ten year-olds with me for a visit to wales - and this was a perefect overnight stop for us. Comfortable and clean, with a kitchen to make a meal for the kids - remeber your own washing-up liquid though!

excellent place for travelingThis is the 2nd time we have stayed at these appartments and i must say they are excellent rooms for traveling around the area, there is ample parking and its a peaceful area too, ample room for two people in the loft appartments, the building doent appear to be that old so the appliance ie cooker, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, boiler were in pristine condition, as were the shower and heating system, clean bedding and towel provided. We contacted the owners on arrival and they are very friendly and helpful.I would recommend these appartments to anyone, we had a lovely stay.
