We were misled when we booked our room at Settle Inn. We thought we were going to get a themed room like the photos depicted, but we found out that that cost extra. So, the room the we DID get -- non-smoking with king-size bed -- smelled intensely of cigarette smoke, was dusty as if nobody had been there in a while, and also had carpet and bedding that felt moldy and damp to the touch. We notified the front desk immediately, and were luckily upgraded to another room, which was a little better, but also had the smell of cigarette smoke. We gave up on changing rooms and just put up with it, but it was definitely disappointing, especially when the reviews we'd read had all been favorable, for the most part. The one good thing was the clean bathroom and strong water pressure. In the end, it was fine for the one night we needed to stay there for...but we won't be booking here again if we are ever in the area again.

Easy to access. The doors are very thin and hallway noise is easily heard. The staff was pleasant and professional except for smoking in the entryway. They were currently undergoing new building and some renovation and did a nice job of keeping the construction separate from the living quarters.

We traveled with another couple to stay in two of the theme whirlpool suites - Egyptian and Western. Our rooms were both on the 2nd floor walking distance from each other. The rooms had lots of nice details, and great instructions for getting the whirlpools the right temperature. Water stayed warm for hours! Pool was a little small, but just a short walk from our rooms as well - we chose to use stairs rather than elevator because it was faster and came out right by the pool. Nice breakfast with waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, donuts, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit and yogurt. Nice staff helped with everything we needed. Thank you!

I absolutly loved this hotel. Check in/check out were fast and friendly. The pool water was warm and the hot tub was actually steaming hot. The room was sparkling clean. The open soap and shampoo bottles were changed out each morning. I was unable to hear the traffic even with the highway so close. Although I arrived late to the continental breakfast on night one there was plenty of food and a wide variety of items available. They always had a bowl of fresh fruit out. I only have a few complaints. My first complaint was that there was very little light in the hotel room. It took me a few moments to realize that you had to turn each lamp on individually. I would have just opened the shades to let more light in but they were having some landscaping/construction going on right outside of my room, which is my second complaint. My third complaint was that housekeeping came really early in the morning. The first morning I was there I left before housekeeping arrived but the next morning they arrived at 6:30am to clean the room. Although I had a do not disturb sign hanging on the door, when I didn't answer the knock they tried to open the door. The only thing stopping housekeeping from coming into the room was the deadbolt on the door. Five minutes and a few knocks later I let them know that I wasn't ready for them to come in yet. My final complaint was that they only had 1 ice machine which was located on the first floor. This would have been fine but my room was on the third floor. This made getting ice quite inconvienient. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend going. :D

This is our favorite place to stay in Lincoln. It is usually very good. They seemed to be having plumbing (drainage) problems in this particular room during this stay. I'm sure they'll fix it asap.

The bed was comfortable; the breakfast sufficient. It is very hard to get to. The desk clerk checked us into a room which was already occupied. This motel is out of the way to get to. It is over priced for the quality.

Pretty good value for the money. Interesting twist with the theme suites. We got an upgrade at check in. Respectable yet typical continental breakfast provided. Right off the interstate so convenient. Comfortable bed and decent pillows. Again, good value for the money.

Free internet, free breakfast and convenient location. Carpets seem a little old/dirty, small rooms and no fruit at breakfast. We had a nice stay, and the kids had fun. In the evening the pool was filled with a young, rowdy group drinking beer, so we weren't able to take the kids swimming.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was great! My kids loved the make-your-own belgian waffles. Couldn't have been more pleased for the money.

Location. Rooms were not very clean. This hotel did not meet my expectations. It was an uncomfortable stay and a very dirty hotel.

Loved the large room with a kitchen. Breakfast could have had more selections. Great location close to restaurants, interstate, and shopping. The room was spacious and even had jets in the bath tub. The breakfast was adequate but needed more selections.

The bed was great, could have been rated a 2 1/2 star. Ironing board hanging out in bedroom. Really nice for the price. Good value. If a closet could be made for the clothes and ironing board it would feel like a three star hotel, atleast a 2 1/2.

Nothing. Dirty, lots of bugs, and moldy. I didn't even stay the whole 3 nights. I checked out after the first night.

I liked the location and the lobby decor. It was hard to access from the freeway. More confusing, actually. Excellent service, great location and I were very happy in every way.

I liked the breakfast. Dirty rooms, bathrooms had a bad odor. They charged me again for my room. Caused me to have overdrafts! Not happy. Water was leaking in from the outside. Rooms were dirty. I had my baby's with me and didn't think it was very clean. They overcharged my credit card.

I liked the way the hotel looked with the medevil theme. I did not like the overflowing trash bins at breakfast. Not very appetizing. Hotel was quiet and clean. Staff was friendly.

We got a theme room. Very unknowledgeable staff claims to have cribs, and then claims not to have any. Unfriendly staff - very rude. Told a bunch of lies. The room was great we got an unexpected theme room (except the spider in the tub). Kids stay free it says, but they can't accommodate for younger children? Two staff members say they have cribs available, one said they don't have cribs at all. One was very rude in asking why we got a king size bed w/two children which is none of her business. One night we got back late and our children were ready for bed, but our keys didn't even work in the door they had to be reprogrammed which took 15 + minutes. Only one manager (who was on vacation during our stay and the entire week after). There was also a new person at the desk morning and night the entire weekend. We never saw the same person twice. Great room, poor experience.

I liked the themed rooms and location of the hotel. Right off the Interstate. The suite couch did not have pull out bed and they ran out of roll aways. 2 Yr old daughter had to sleep on couch. It was a pretty good experience. The elevator is kind of old and it needs a little updating but the themed rooms were very fun. We stayed in the Husker room and the bed was wonderful. It was like sleeping at home and not a hotel. The Continental breakfast had homemade Belgian waffles. Yummy!

It was close to interstate and dining. The carpet was dirty and the sheets on the bed kept sliding off, they didn't fit well. I was not given the type of room that I requested and I had to plead them to give me a non-smoking room with 2 beds.
