If you're just looking for somewhere to stay and not spend a lot, this is fine. It's what you expect - not top notch anything, but I also didn't pay much so no real complaints. Also, saying continental breakfast is a bit of an overstatement. Nice to have a pre-breakfast snack available however.

The Select Inn in Grand Forks ND was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a quiet night, even though the motel was full due to a national curling tournament and a major political event. The breakfast was minimal, but for the price of the room, it was a bargain.

Dirty, rude workers, continental breakfast hardly! Smoking room that said no smoking. The people that work here are rude. The public area was dirty. Continental breakfast if you call donuts and muffins a breakfast. Our room was clearly a smoking room that they slapped a non-smoking sign on the door. We asked for an extra pillow and they said they didn't have one.

Internet access was limited to a computer in the front lobby, not room access. We needed the internet access for work reasons, and the lack of access made a conference meeting impossible. The room itself wasn't terrible, however, when the trains go by and sound their horns in the middle of the night, it is impossible to sleep. We woke twice in the night due to the trains. We decided to stay at this hotel because of the price, but we will not stay again due to the lack of creature comforts, ie. internet access and sound control.

Neat, clean, with comfortable beds and good wireless internet connection. Breakfast area is small. The Select Inn is a neat, clean hotel with helpful desk attendants, as well as excellent wireless Internet connection.
