I liked the resort but, they were more interested in setting up a time when they could sell us some rooms. Other people we saw there also said they were pressured to talk and buy into the "hotel". This shouldn't happen. When we were checking in they wouldnt let us leave without setting up a time when they could talk to us again!

Very poor lighting! Tripped on a step, fell due to poor lighting. This was not a very good experience.

The Sedona Summit room we had was outdated, provided few amenities, and NO housekeeping. No food/beverage services are available, not even within walking distance. The in room coffee maker is useless when coffee is not provided! Our "view" was of a pedestrian walkway - no vista view. Another couple we knew had a magnificent room with lots of space and amenities For the money there are several nicer, better located places in beautiful Sedona. This place is nice if you want some quietude in a Motel 6 type facility.

Wanted to getaway from the city and mostly relax. Mission accomplished!!!

Beautiful hotel, awesome staff, perfect pools and delicious food in their restaurant. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, the room was romantic, comfortable and had modern decor. I loved that there was 2 pools, one for families and one for people looking for a relaxing day of quietness. The staff and food at the restaurant were phenomenal. I had one of the best burgers ever in the restaurant and delicious breakfast all while enjoying the view.

We revisited Sedona this year to enjoy the breath taking views of the red rocks. While our efficiency was good for a short term stay, we were greatly disappointed in that our view was of the parking lot.

Lovely facility but check-in process was slow and they made mistakes. Room was pleasant but found a cockroach one morning in the bathroom.

Spacious room. Uncomfortable mattress, housekeeping disposed of several personal items, coffee pot did not work. In the room I feeling every spring in the mattress kind of soured me on this establishment. When speaking with the concierge I was pitched very aggressively for a tour of the facilities and had to say no many times before she gave up.

My review is based on the fact that they are calling this place a resort. There are little to know resort facilities. This looks like an apartment building that they rent/sell rooms. Nothing special! There is a pool. We were not told, nor did it say anywhere, that there was no housekeeping. Even when we checked in there was no mention of this. We found out at the end of our second day when I called the front desk. They then let me know that they do not provide housekeeping unless we wanted to pay an extra fee. It is build in an amazingly beautiful place though the way it is built (apartment like) you get little to no view other then other buildings and parking lot. Our expectations were not met. On the up side. We did tour the new rooms and they looked really great. The old room that we stayed in was not great but they said that all the rooms would be renovated by next year. The front desk people that we spoke with were all nice and helpful. Since we have kids, it was nice to have a kitchen. If you want a place to stay and take care of yourself, then this is not a bad place to do it. If we had known what to expect and accepted it, I would have given them an exceptional review. Overall stay was fine.

The room was average, big bathroom which was nice. The wallpaper was peeling off and needed some help. The location was okay, a little off the beaten path. The connecting room wasn't good due to loud neighbors and being able to hear full conversations at 11:00 PM. The room was clean. Nice to have a little kitchen area, but a stove would have been handy. The check in process was a little much based on the Summit being a time-share facility. They kinda hound you into going to their open house for time-share information. The front desk lady tried to sell us on the Pink-Jeep tour and give us a discount if we attended the open house. I tried to tell her we were interested in the Hummer excursion and she said she had never heard of that. It was listed as one of the top ten things to do while you are in Sedona. We did it and had a blast! Pool area was nice and clean. The water was heated so that was great.

Expected hotel room, got a condo. Pressure to take a time share talk; no free internet.

The location and architecture of this time sahre community is just amazing, it is one of the most beutiful places I've been to. So why such a poor review? To start when you get to the resort the first thing you see is the sales office and it is the place where every one I asked stopped thinking it was the reception which it is a way down. When we got to the reception building there was a line of 4 new guests and only one person manning the desk, big contrast with the concierge/sales desk on the other side of the lobby that had 5 people waiting for you. After a 30-45 minute wait it was finally my turn and the person was talking so fast that it was difficult to get the details on where the room was located and where the pools where but he slow down to let me know that I should walk across the hallway to the concierge to get some "freebes". No wait there! even though we were very tired from a full day of driving and sight seeing they had to book our tours on the spot, We finally got to the room only one bed (we are 4) the other was a very uncomfortable sleeper sofa for which they had no linens in the room. 1Hr. wait for linens. next day after a full day of hicking we found out they only clean rooms every four days "this is a time share not a full service hotel" no toilette paper in the bathroom 1+hrs wait for toilette paper and fresh towels and soap. In short if you are looking for a time share this is beutiful if you want a hotel there are many in town. cheaper and as pretty.

The location is awesome. The rooms are clean, but walls are paper thin and you are literally in the conversation with your neighbors because you can hear everything! The sales tactics at your check in is nearly unbearable and just saying no thank you doesn't work. Then when we didn't make our appt they scheduled to do their timeshare sales speech, they keep calling you to reschedule. Got sick of that part. All and all, nice spot, but would rather not have to deal with the sales pitch to buy a timeshare.

The setting was magnificent, the room first class, pool access convenient. There were no dining facilities. This resort rivals all the resorts I have ever been to, they spared no expenses and really paid attention to detail and every comfort was there.

On the plus side, the room appears nice, a condo feel to it, but be prepared to deal with lousy service. Upon checking in, they had lost my reservation and I'm sure if I didnt' have my confirmation letter in hand we would have been turned away ( they did so to someone in front of us). We ultimately got checked in and drove to our 'apartment' and then proceed to have to lug all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs ( no elevators). They woudn't make up the beds so we had to...3 very important words here.. NO FITTED SHEETS!!?? Every try sleeping on flat sheets tucked under a mattress that is only on a platform bed? THEY DON"T STAY. The maid's supposedly came once about 3 or 4 days into our 8 day stay and all they did was wash the bathroom sink. They took all of the towels out of the room and didn't leave us any. They didn't make any of the beds, though they did remove the sheets off of the pullout couch. We had to call and have them bring all new towels etc, and we had to remake the pullout bed ourselves. They are very concerned with trying to sell you time shares, and really that's what they are there for. All other attempts to get any kind of service or assistance whatsoever really were like pulling teeth. We got daily calls from the concierge to "make sure there weren't any tours they coudl help us with" which of course was followed up with an attempt to get us to sit through their time share sales pitch. There are better places to stay, but if you want to do all the work yourself and don't mind lousy service, try it out.

Area is beautiful, grounds well kept; we were greeted by friendly/informative staff; studio room was immaculately clean/nicely furnished with small kitchenette; we used local market for few breakfast items which worked very well for us; we chose to take part in a sales presentation (that wasn't required with our reservation---but saved us some $ on rather pricey Pink Jeep Tour); red rocks are magnificent - a must visit is the Chapel of the Holy Cross. There was quite a bit of road construction getting in and out of town, but it really didn't create a big problem. Would highly recommend this room at great Orbitz price.

The convenience to all the sightseeing plans in Sedona that we had planned. Confusion about housekeeping procedures. The hotel was a New Timeshare Condominium for Diamond International. The grounds were easy to get around on. I rented a 2 bedroom suite which turned out to be very generous in size for 4 people and another studio for another couple. The pools were very nice and a large spa which was wonderful. They had barbecues all around the complex with tables and utensils. The views of Sedona in a couple of the rooms were outstanding. Close to the downtown for activities and shopping and restaurants.

I tried to stay at Sedona Summit in July. I took this long for my review because I wanted to communicate what happened in a more businesslike manner. The walls and the adjoining door of the room were so thin - I wished my neighbor good health when they sneezed. The refrigerator and AC units kicking in, kept me awake all night. At 3 am, I walked to the office to ask if I could check out in the morning and not be charged for my second scheduled night. I knew my trip was ruined ? I just wanted to go home and sleep. The night clerk said that I could check out and not be charged. The next morning, the manager called me to find out what was wrong. After explaining about my sleepless night, I stated what the night clerk had said. She too said that I could check out without being charged. I spoke to this woman when I checked out, and she told me that I needed to call the online travel website to get my money back. I said that I would do so, and I thanked her for her help. I went home and slept most of the day ? I was exhausted from not sleeping the night before and having to drive home to Phoenix. It wasn?t until the next day that I called the online travel webite. They called Sedona Summit and were told that there would not be a refund. If they weren?t going to refund my money, they could have moved me to a quieter room. I sent a letter with a tracking number, to ask for help to get my money back. They didn?t reply to the letter I know they received. When considering staying in Sedona ? I would consider Sedona Summit my last resort.

The Sedona summit resort was perfect for what we wanted to do which was explore the natural beauty of the area. It has a nice location and is a short drive to many beautiful hikes. The kitchenette was handy to have and the room clean and confortable. I would stay there again. Thisis a time share and they do attempt to sell you when you check in. Just say no and they will leave you alone. If you are looking to spend time shopping or visiting galleries while the hotel is a short drive there are many other options that are closer.

Beautiful grounds, nice spot with views of the mountains, clean pleasant room, interesting activities. No bar service near any of the pools. We had a very nice time at the Sedona Summit. It is on beautiful grounds, and we enjoyed having a great view of the mountains while using the hot tub. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, and there were interesting activities every day. The entire resort is immaculate. There is time-share opportunity, but we were in no way pressured to participate in the tour.
