As a travel agent, this room was no big deal. I have stayed at much better hotels. The regular room seemed small, beds very uncomfortable, holes in sheets and the fridge was in the bathroom. I also thought the breakfast could have been a lot more organized and the food a better quality. the air conditioning unit was very loud and right next to bed in the window. the handicapped room had a very slippery seat so I could take a shower, but could not sit down due to slipping right off the bench. There is no smoking, so I had to smoke in my car. I seen many other guests smoking right outside their door. I wish I had a room with a sitting area outside, which was what I was promised. Would never stay again. The concierge lady even gave wrong directions to the fireworks in Cottonwood. We had to stop and ask for directions at a local gas station.

The hotel is located in west Sedona, which is pretty convenient to get to hiking trails and to shopping. If you want to stay here for views there isn't much for views from most of the rooms of the red rocks. The rooms are pretty spacious for a hotel room and the breakfast was great. We didn't spend to much time there during the daylight hours, so the view part didn't make a difference to us. We enjoyed our patio area in the evening after a long day of hiking and shopping.

Very Nice hotel. BIG rooms ! Pool has a very nice background of a Red mountain, not sure which one. Breakfast area is not big enough when families are trying to feed hungry kids. They could have easily set up tables in the pool area for people to sit. We ended up bringing our food back to our room, That was fine by me. We will diffinately stay here again !!!!

i know it isn't pc to smoke, but a large number of people do smoke. this hotel has 2 smoking rooms that were booked 6 weeks in advance and they say are being phased out. we were forced to stand at the curb in the parking lot to smoke. they did have a smoking area by the pool and we were grateful for that, but i wish they would make a smoking area by each building that included a small table and some chairs. it was not convient to go to the pool all the time and it closed at 10pm each night.

Had a wonderful time at the Real Inn. Great location 3 miles from Sedona center (too many tourists) and close to the trails and the canyons. Loved our suite, especially the patio, fireplace, and duvets.The staff was very helpful, attentive and professional. Very clean, no problems or complaints. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay! The rooms are nice, and very clean, with comfortable beds. The location is indeed on the quiet side of town so it is a maybe 5-10 minute drive to get to the tourist-y part of Sedona. Some of the rooms (like ours) have a breathtaking view of the major rock formations - so you can sit on the balcony/patio and just take it all in. The included breakfast is nothing to write home about but frankly for the price I would not have been disappointed if there was no breakfast at all. There is a grocery store right across the street, in fact! The hotel is very conveniently located relative to the Boynton Canyon and Dead Man's Pass trailheads... so if you like low-key hikes (and you should if you are going to Sedona) then I would definitely recommend one of these.

The room setup was great for our family of 5. We loved the beds & lots of pillows in room! I would recommend paper towels, dish soap & popcorn in kitchen area... This would be a nice enhancement! The breakfast was good when available. They had a hard time keeping food available like the eggs, bread (limited to garlic?)muffins, bananas & bagels. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice hotel to stay at!

By far, the best place we stayed during our recent trip to Arizona. Our two-bed suite had a patio, gas fireplace, nice family room, and a beautiful view of the mountains. Also, beautiful lobby, nice complimentary breakfast, beautiful pool and spa. Right in the middle of a lot of nice shops and restaurants in town. Highly recommended!

We had a pretty bad stay here. If you come here during the winter, be prepared to either be uncomfortably cold or awake all night due to the noise of the heater. We stayed in one of the suite-type rooms. In detail:- Heater/AC unit is of the cheap kind - the one you usually find in motels - installed under the window. Its loud and it kicks on even when it's supposed to be off. Really annoying since it's right next to the bed. I had to literally unplug the unit to keep it off.- The beds are old and have only the crummy white sheet/beige blanket combination as cover. This may be great in the summer, but it's totally inadequate in the winter when it's freezing outside and the rooms have no insulation to speak of.- The walls are thin, really thin. You will hear all the guests around you - not to mention the plumbing. The guests above us were active (not even noisy) until 3am in the morning. We woke up whenever they flushed the toilet or turned on a faucet.We didn't get much sleep here and checked out exhausted and annoyed. I expected to pay a premium to stay in Sedona, but I was amazed at how much this place charges and what you get in return.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed and couch were comfortable; pillows fluffy, sheets and towels clean. The bathroom was also spacious. It's comfortable accommodations. The breakfast was also more than adequate. Overall a very pleasant stay.

When we checked in, we received a free upgrade to a larger suite. This was a nice surprise for our family of 5.

The staff were wonderful in accommodating us. There were no pet rooms available but she allowed us to stay in another room. We also wanted to up-grade and to have ajoining rooms. They came through and at an incredible price. The rooms were wonderful, clean, luxurious, spacious, can't say enough! Will deffinately stay there again!

=The Sedona Real Inn had a great location in West Sedona, away from all the traffice congestion in Uptown Sedona. The concerciege was very helpful in recommending day trips. Would stay there again! Our friends loved it too!

My stay at Sedona Real was very enjoyable. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There were two sinks and two TV's. The fireplace was lovely but it was a too warm to use, i am sure it would be great in colder waether. The continental breaksfast was very good with a variety of foods, including waffles and hard-boiled eggs.

"Hotel was a little futher away from downtown than I would have liked, but once we arrived we were very impressed with our Queen suite with balcony looking over the pool. This was our first visit to Sedona and we loved it. You MUST do the pink jeep tour. The hotel set it up for us. It seems a little expensive but all 5 of us said it was the best money we ever spent."

The Sedona Real had large rooms, some with a small balcony. Free Breakfast in the morning was nice, but no other restaurants to eat at. There is a pool and hot tub outside that are very nice as well. The rooms are slightly out-dated, and the air conditioning fans go on and off all night which kept me awake a lot. The front desk staff and conceierge were super friendly and accomodating, and even made some suggestions on what to see while in Sedona. I would definitely recommend his hotel to a friend.
