My friend and I ate here one evening; we were up from Galway for the weekend. We had homemade burgers for our mains followed by black forest geatuex which was speckled in blue mould. Immediately we felt ill, our burgers were now sitting in our stomach like a piece of lead. We called over who appeared to be the owner and showed him the cake. He was not one bit apologetic and merely asked us if we would like another piece……NO THANKS! He avoided us like the plague when we went to pay our bill, the black forest was knocked off the bill but there was no form of apology by taking off our drinks or coffee. I would never ever return to this hotel. Bad service and mouldy cake this place should be closed down!!
