LikedLocation is excellent for exploring the town on foot. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby looked newly appointed and was a nice entrance to the hotel, liked the ice water and coffee they had out daily. Didn’t mind the amenity fee since we used beach towels and had bikes available if we wanted them. Bed was comfy.
DislikedThe a/c in the room was problematic. Not only because it wasn’t super cold, but more because of its placement in the window. It was impossible to close the curtains all the way over the window area just below the a/c unit, so it was way too bright in the room early in the morning. Terrible retrofitting. Didn’t mind the noise when it was on since it drowned out the outside noise which was pretty significant (guests and otherwise) even after 10pm. Seemed like the place had just been redone to appear more like a boutique hotel, but throwing wood panels up on the ceiling and offering crazy expensive snacks and bevs in the room for purchase wasn’t all that impressive. It still felt like an old hotel and not worth the high nightly rate plus the extra $25/night to park a car there. 🫠

LikedThe room was spacious and clean. I could tell it was recently renovated. The coffee from the food truck they have in their courtyard for breakfast was delicious. And to top it all off, the price was great.
