LikedHello. Beginning with the positives, the location was great. If you want to be in the centre close to all the tourist locations and points of interest, this is the place to be. At night if you're into the bars, pubs etc, this is also the perfect location to be in. Regards to the room itself, I had booked a "twin room" It turned out to be a double room which isn't an issue, but it shows lack of attentiveness. The bed was comfortable, clean and warm. The duvet was big and cosy. I had a good night's sleep. They provide towels and have a clean bathroom with running hot water etc.. The staff are somewhat helpful when they want.

DislikedFirstly, the room didn't have carpet. And the heater wasn't working. This made the room extremely cold. The only warm place was if I was in bed under the duvet. The shower didn't have any shower gel at all, I had to use the soap from the hand soap dispenser. Lastly and the most disappointing thing - I had made a reservation of a room for one night inclusive of breakfast. Upon arrival I asked what time breakfast would be and I was told the cafeteria is under renovation so food isn't being served for the time being. I asked why do you still offer the option of "breakfast" on booking.com? I was told it's an issue with the manager. This was truly unprofessional and unethical. I paid over £100 for one night but had to stay in a cold room and wasn't given breakfast neither was I offered anything to recompense for their mistake. Rather, I had to spend extra money to have breakfast elsewhere.

DislikedRoof in room was leaking. Water took forever to get warm in shower. Staff very in helpful and non committal, just kept stating there was nothing they could do. Advertised as including breakfast but due to renovations that were on going the kitchen was closed . No notice was given about this
