Hotel Verona Rome

LikedThe location was excellent, close to some major attractions and the hop on hop off bus stop, and lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great. Room and bathroom is small, compared to US standards, but is totally acceptable in Rome. I guess they built the lift after hotel was constructed because the stops on the lift were midway between floors, thereby we still had to carry luggage up or down steps.

DislikedThe lift stopping at halfway between floors was inconvenient. But we somehow managed. The lift itself was also so tiny. The rooms were tiny as well.

LikedI can say “nothing”, just the location were good

DislikedWe wait long time until we could get in there in the hotel because there were no reception in the hotel and we should wait until the staff that were sleep, woke up and open the door of the hotel. Then she gave us a wrong room. We asked for the time of breakfast and she answered by 7 o’clock. In the morning we go to eat breakfast but reception said that it is not ready and it will be ready by 8 o’clock. The bathroom, walls and the ground were very dirty. It seemed that they didn’t clean the walls of the bathroom for at least two months. When I requested that they clean it, they didn’t do it properly. Every day they just set the bed but not the toilet. The staff were kind but it is not enough. Other issues are also very very important for a passenger. Unfortunately, I forget to take a photo because I was very upset.

LikedClean, disent, good for 2-3 days, we used it just to sleep over as we were mainly outside exploring rome.

LikedThe location of the hotel is superb for having lovely walks in the surrounding area. Close to great shops, bars and easy distance to attractions.

DislikedWe had no complaints.
