LikedConcierge and other staff were very helpful. Room temperature and amenities were acceptable. Location was fantastic - close to Underground, and many restaurants and theaters. Buffet-style breakfast was excellent.

DislikedLifts were small and slow. Due to the location, rooms were somewhat noisy at night (even those facing away from major roads). Ensuite bathroom was small and cramped. I consider this hotel expensive, but pricing is probably consistent with other London hotels.

LikedThe original room was next to an air Conditioning unit but when I raised the issue you moved me straight away. The hotel location was very convenient for central London.

DislikedThe breakfast service on all three mornings was very poor, no cups missing cutlery shortage of plates no eggs on two mornings and no sausages at all on third morning leading to a poor choice of cooked breakfast, in each instance there seemed no urgency to resolve. Only one person signing people in for breakfast causing a delay when some guests were paying cash.

LikedIt was very close to all of the areas I wanted to travel to such as the London Coliseum, the national portrait gallery and the British museum. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were polite.

DislikedIt was very small, which was ok as we weren't spending much time in the room. It didn't have a bath only a shower, which I was slightly disappointed in.  The walls were very thin and you could hear people talking outside the room and the guests next door going to the loo.  There was construction going on in the hotel which I wasn't told of before the stay. I understand the need for refurbishment, however, I think it would've been better practice to notify the guests before their stay.  There were lights above the bed and when you sat up they would either get in the way or you would hit your head. There were instances when you hit your head on the wall light, all of the lights would flicker.  There was a few little things like the TV was wonky on the wall and the shower had a three in one bath, shower and body wash. I would've liked some conditioner. We had to request extra teabags and milk twice during our stay. I like my tea, but I felt they were quite stingy with the teabags and milk.  It would've been nice to have the tea refilled when the cleaners went to clean up.  Generally I think the stay was ok, it was a bed to sleep in and that's the main thing. But the hotel could definitely have paid more attention to the little details to make the room feel a lot nicer than what it was.

LikedVery basic for the price paid. Disappointing to be honest. Thought price included breakfast but had to pay extra. Again disappointing for price paid. Juice tasteless, ran out of coffee and really not impressed. Won't stay here again. Only plus is a good location.

DislikedDisappointing on the whole for price paid.
