When I booked the hotel I was told we would be able to see the fireworks from the window facing the harbour. When I checked in I was told that We would not be able to see from our window. It took until our check-out to get an answer regarding a rebate. I spent approximately 2 hours at the desk and phone to accomplish a $50 return. When we pulled out the sofa bed it had not been cleaned for sometime from the dust and peanuts we found under it. Lastly there was no bell service due to a wedding.

stayed at the hotel for five days while attending a convention. Hotel is is bit off the beaten path, however the T line is about 100 ft from the hotel. Boston has an amazing public transportation system. I saw more of boston this trip than when i stayed downtown. every night we would catch the subway to a different area of boston and have supper and do some shopping, you can get anywhere in 15 - 20 mins. always felt extremely safe, people were very friendly and were more than helpful with subway directions. would stay here again

We were very happy with this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. There were a number of restaurants within walking distance. We also liked that we were able to leave our car in the hotel parking garage after we checked out, so we could explore the city without having to worry about finding parking.

Staying at the Seaport Hotel was such a treat for my boyfriend and I. This was our first trip to Boston together as a couple. We knew we wanted to be able to relax and enjoy each others company but we also wanted to let loose, bar-hop and shop a little. With the Seaport Hotel being so close to Fanuel Hall and Quincey Market, we were able to accomplish all of our goals. When we asked the front dest where the nearest T station was she recommended that we just hop in a cab...only a $6.00 fee from the hotel to The Black Rose, where we ate dinner. Overall, I would come stay at the Seaport again in the blink of an eye.

We were not given the room we had booked but were told they would move us the next day - they did not move us. The water pressure in the shower was so low I had to shower in the sports club - they had lots of water pressure. We were constantly given inaccurate information by the staff regarding transportation, etc. Room was clean but more like a Holiday Inn quality than a 4 star hotel. Location makes it good for business travelers. Catering was well done.

Very nice people work at this place! We borrowed an umbrella and walked all over town the one day it poured. The lounge is cozy and friendly to strangers. So much to see, but I wish it was closer to main part of Boston. We toured the city for five days and I want to go back soon. I really liked my stay at the Seaport.

I was glad to find a hotel on the Harbor that was within my price range. I was expecting a nice hotel, but when I checked in, I was highly impressed. The rooms were great. The bathroom in our room as absolutely gorgeous. I didn't want to leave. And I enjoyed the flatscreen television along with the view of the Harbor.

I had a beautiful room on the 17th floor with awesome views of the harbor and Boston. Fun service offered was pillow library. Order a couple of different pillow options and within 15 minutes there were delivered to the room. Breakfast buffet was delicious.

The Seaport Hotel was very nice and clean. The only drawbacks was that it was not too close to the city. It was far out in the business district. Also, there is no tipping so they add it in at the end before you check out, which I found not to my pleasure. Other than that the Hotel was very nice and clean and would otherwise recommend to a friend.

Just got back from Boston for a trip away with my wife. We arrived at 8:30am at the Seaport Hotel. We asked to check our bags so we could start sight seeing. With out a hesitation the staff asked us if we would like to go ahead and check in our room...what a surprise. We have taken so many trips where we have to wait until 3 or 4pm to check in. Also at check in they let us know that the staff did not take tips, service was included. Wow. Location is great, accross from the Institute of Contemporary Art, several resturants, and the outdoor concert pavillion. Hotel was very clean, room service is fast and friendly, rooms are spacious, and the views are great. Thank you Seaport for a wonderful vacation. Will not even search for other hotels next trip!

The Seaport Hotel is, in my opinion, the best hotel for business travelers in Boston. It isn't right downtown, but it is 5 minutes from South Station by T and the T station is steps from the hotel. The walk downtown isn't too bad either, which is a good thing because you might want to head elsewhere for a restaurant. There are just a few restaurants open for dinner in the area. The food at the Seaport itself is very good, however. In addition, every room has free wireless and ethernet Internet connection and it has a great fitness center with classes. They're also the only hotel I've seen in Boston that has recycling bins in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful and tips are included in the hotel fees so you never have to worry about having extra cash on hand.

Located in an up and coming area of Boston. Convenient to North End, Financial district. Easy access to the airport. Great facilities.

The Seaport Hotel is clean, spacious, quiet and easy to find off of the main highways to and from Boston. It was decorated beautifully and we had a lovely light lunch at the bar while talking to a friendly bartender who filled us in on all the things to order on the menu. We were up from Cape Cod for just an overnight to see a concert and then return home the next day. We walked from the hotel to the Boston Common, quite a long walk, but on a wonderful sunny day like we had, it felt great. We took the T from the courthouse stop to the concert later and had no problem figuring out the stops, but we know Boston pretty well - maybe not quite so easy for out-of-towners. Taxis were easy and pretty reasonable to get home from our concert at the Berklee Performance Center. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again if we came to Boston. We were a little disappointed that the parking was so much for hotel guests (the same rate as someone off the street parking there). Overall, a good experience.

The Seaport Hotel was a nice surprise. It was very clean and new looking. The rooms were very comfortable with a sitting area that was perfect for reading. Our room had a water view which make our stay even more enjoyable. If you do not mind higher floors, I would most definitely request one. The hotel is located in the growing seaport area of Boston. It is a good 20 minute walk to Boston's North end and Fanueil Hall area or a 7 minute cab ride. Overall the hotel was more than we expected and we would highly recommend it. Lastly, the staff was very attentive. As a matter of fact, we tried to tip them for carrying our bags and they flatly refused! We even attempted again and they still turned it down. We thought were in the Twilight zone! Very unlike any other major 4 star hotel we stayed at and we stay in a lot of them.
