After reading other reviews I was nervous about this place. Apparently those reviews were based on simple predjudice (it was operated by Indians) and was unfounded. On the other hand, if you are so bigoted that you can't stand the smell of curry for the brief time when you are checking in (only in the office, not in the rooms) then stay away. Otherwise the room was your standard hotel room these days. No particular character, but efficient and clean. I wasn't looking for a resort, just a good night's sleep and I got it at a very resonable price.

This hotel was further through the town than expected, and we had to follow the highway through several turns, etc. Its location, however, is very convenient for the Shenandoah National Park. The room was fairly spacious, and there was a small microwave and refrigerator in the room. It wasn't outwardly very dirty, but felt like it was. Also, the bathtub/shower leaked. There weren't any extra amenities added in, but it served its purpose, as a place to stay for a night on our way home from a long road trip. It seemed as though a couple was running the whole place, though they were very friendly.

It was not the greatest place, but what it had, the price and the staff was well worth the stay.

It is my view that when dealing with the general public the person at the front desk should speak good english or suffer the consequences. The motel was not clean enough and the bathroom and shower facilities wer not up to modern standards.

We only stayed for a few hours, on our way hom from New York. It was off the expressway a few miles and difficult to find at midnight, but it was comfortable for our needs.

Confortble, big room, big TV, bathroom and everything else(ok), good location.
