You will feel at home and comfortable in our castle rooms, exclusively designed with contemporary as well as antique pieces of furniture, which complement each other to create a totally special atmosphere.

Junior Suite - None of the five junior suites is the same as the other. Here you can expect a lavish atmosphere, rooms partly furnished with antique furniture, historical stucco work, high-quality materials and a unique view into our castle park.

An extra service: Champagne and canapés as a greeting, a carafe with selected port wine or sherry as well as exclusive Bulgari products in the bathroom. The limousine service from and to Düsseldorf airport or the main train station in Düsseldorf and Essen is also included in the price.

Single Room - Our single rooms have a size of about 20 m². They have a single bed (90 cm wide) and are equipped with all common facilities including a minibar with free soft drinks.

Chef de cuisine Erika Bergheim serves light, exquisite creations in the Nero restaurant. Hearty, country-style dishes await you in the Hugenpöttchen restaurant, which is located in the coach house. Both restaurants feature an attractive outdoor terrace.

The Nesselrode restaurant opens its doors from Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Take the A 52 motorway in the direction of Essen/Oberhausen up to Breitscheid junction, exit Rat.-Breitscheid, 200 m to traffic lights, filter right in the direction of Velbert (B 227); 1.8 km to the roundabout (ESSO and BP), turn left in the direction of E-Kettwig; 1.3 km further on turn left in the direction of E-Kettwig, 3.3 km down the road is the entrance to the Hotel (heed the right of way).

FROM COLOGNE OR OBERHAUSEN (A 3)
At Breitscheid junction get in the Essen lane, keep right, exit Rat.-Breitscheid, 200 m to traffic lights, filter right in the direction of Velbert
(B 227); 1.8 km to the roundabout (ESSO and BP), turn left in the direction of
E-Kettwig; 1.3 km further on turn left in the direction of E-Kettwig, 3.3 km down the road is the entrance to the Hotel (heed the right of way).

FROM ESSEN (A 52)
Take the A 52 motorway in the direction of Düsseldorf, exit Essen-Kettwig, turn right in the direction of E-Kettwig; drive through Kettwig (in the direction of Düsseldorf) over the Ruhr Bridge. At the end of Kettwig head right towards Düsseldorf; 1.2 km down the road is the entrance to the Hotel.
