Everything about this place was excellent. EXCEPT the security. We came back after a day away from our room to find that room service hadn't bothered to lock our room. We notified the front desk of this and left it at that. Two days elapsed before I realized that an expensive dry as a bone jacket had dissapeared. When I first contacted the Aline motel manager he indicated that under the circumstances he would reimburse us for our loss. However he later changed his mind. And when I visited queenstown a month or two later i went and visited the Aline to speak with the manager again, this time in person. Not only did he refuse any liability, he told me he didn't believe my story. We paid for our stay in more ways than one and we will never stay there again. Very disappointing.

We stayed at the Scenic Circle Aurum Hotel for 4 nights and were very impressed about the location and the suite facilities. The suites were very tidy, the view spectacular and it was only a very short 5 min walk down the road to central Queenstown. Would definitely stay again.

The restaurant food for dinner was excellent - cooked to perfection and good size portions. The bar cocktails excellent - would definitely recommend it. Close to city lovely views spacious apartments. Friendly staff........
