wonderful hotel in a neighbourhood

This hotel was close enough to all the shops but far enough away from the pubs so we could have a good nights sleep. Bed super comfortable. Only downside if you call it that were the bath gowns, used to towelling ones and these were a cheap waffle weave...just wanted that snug feeling of a towelling gown after a long bath.

The hotel took too long in responding to the booking....48 hours. We also found the room rather cramped! Excellent location.

Considering it was such a last minute booking (the day before staying!) we were delighted with the hotel that was booked for us. It was very pleasant with nice room and furnishings up to the minute. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel too. Both very good.

This hotel was fantastic onr of the best we have ever stayed in. The rooms were top class. Allstaff were very friendly 7 helpful could nit ask for better service. The one problem that let this hotel down. The cafe D; ora where we had tea on saturday evening was shocking. The was about 2 cms of water in a jug with lemon the water was warm felt it had been there all day. My husband asked fro more they said there is a tap down end . The meal runp steak chips& gravy no my husband had was uneatable I had sausage 7 mash which was worse. We have never coplained before about anything but really feel this needs to be looked at as it is letting this wonderful hotel down Kind Regards

This is were I always stay in Dunedin, its close to everything and you can walk from the Hotel to all the best restaurants in a few minutes.The staff are always good and very helpful

Excellent hotel! I spend an average of 10 days per month in a hotel - I rate this as one of the best. It is only the cost that will limit my staying there in the future - budgets!!

Very good, comfortable hotel with well equipped rooms. However, we did have a problem sleeping because of the traffice noise which went on until after 1 a m on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Double glazing and sound proofing would be a great improvement.

Only hotel to stay in if you enjoy a flutter at the Casino. Great location, lovely clean rooms, excellent food, friendly & helpful staff!
