Sawgrass Resort accomodated our national conference very well. The check in was delayed by 1 hour but we managed to find other things to do in the area until we were able to get into our room. The room accomodations were very comfortable and pleasing. The setting is beautiful. Our room had easy access to the outdoor pools and hot tubs. The staff was very accomodating in all aspects. From answering questions on shopping and eateries in the area to qeustions about Red Tide! We found lots of shopping in the area as well as restaurants. The restaurants inside the hotel were wonderful as well. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Great place to stay, something for everyone, beautiful grounds, stellar service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and went our of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Beautiful rooms, beautiful grounds..everything was wonderful and staff was very attentive.

The rooms were in horrible condition, ceiling falling apart, ac/heating system loud, you could hear every conversation going on in nearby rooms. Make sure you don't stay at the villas. Awful experience. The staff at the TPC course could not have been more indifferent--they were out of carts, they had absolutely no attention to detail. I would rate the service as at the same level as a second rate muni. The round took forever and the course itself was in less than pristine condition. Highly overrated--generally a poor golf experience.

The Sawgrass Marriott staff was very firendly and helpful. THe food was good although a little pricey. Golf and Spa are always apprecaited. The fitness room was reasonable for the hotel of this size. They charge for self parking and for internet.

Friendliness of staff. No refrigerator in room or microwave. Have to pay for in room wireless connection. Really like this resort. Had everything on site you needed. Upscale and restaurants were on the pricey side. Very clean. Had to pay for parking which did not make sense since you had to drive to a parking lot and then walk a good distance to the hotel. You could use valet parking but that was even more expensive.

My husband and I loved this hotel and are thinking of going back. We only stayed for one evening and a day as we were en route further south, but the property is truly beautifully designed with perfect beds, bathrooms & flat screen tv, gracious attentive service and a surprisingly sophisticated breakfast. I especially liked the fact that you could indulge in exercise classes (pilates stretch) for just $5 at the spa right next to the main property. The level of the class was excellent and all the usual members were very welcoming to yours truly who had not taken an exercise class of any kind in months. I would highly recommend this hotel to business and leisure travelers alike. The only slight drawback is that playing golf at the apparently famous PGA course is quite a monetary commitment; nonetheless you can practice drives and putting easily!

One had to pay for everything; even computer access and that was on top of the high price to begin with. Pool access was not convenient at all. Walls were paper thin and we could hear children easily next door.

The Sawgrass Marriott is beautiful and, with the exception of the front desk, the staff is friendly and attentive. I was overcharged by $65 at the Friday night buffet and upon check out I was charged for 3 days of parking when I did not have a car. One of my relatives was shorted twice at the bar in the lobby when given change, ($15 & $20 respectively). The reception area staff were surprisingly unfriendly and a bit condescending. I was there for my son's wedding and the reception room and outdoor area for the ceremony were both beautiful. The wedding planner was organized and did a great job. Sawgrass would benefit by insuring that the front desk staff are as friendly & helpful as the bartenders, maintenance staff, restaurant staff & housekeeping staff.

High quality. Being charged extra for everything.

Stayed at the Villas August 8-10, 2008. There was a devastating fire which totaled one Villa. The desk was called and ignored it, saying they thought it was a prank call. After a second call, they finally called the fire department, which was too late to save the Villa. People only got out unharmed because my party went door to door yelling "FIRE" to every room. The staff was quite indiffernet until they realized they had a major problem - and then did not offer anything except moving people to unoccupied rooms. It's too bad - a lovely setting but a lot to be desired. I wouldn't stay there ever again!

I have stayed here many times in the past and it never fails to please. The grounds -- including the pool areas, beach, and lobby are very nice. Rooms not huge but comfortable. Busy place during the golf tournament (now mid-May) but otherwise very laidback and relaxing. Would highly recommend.

The hotel room was large. $10.00/Night parking charge and also charge for internet service. It had been several years since I had stayed her. The rooms have been remodeled with a comfortable bed. The $10.00 parking charge was out of line since there was plenty of guest parking. Valet parking is $18.00 per day. You've got a nice hike to get to your car which must be parked outside since valet parking now takes up all of the parking garage. This was not the case three years ago.

The Sawgrass Marriott is surrounded by lush tropical plants and beautifully kept gardens. The waterfalls, lemonade stand and even a free wine tasting make this a tranquil, but fun environment for all!

The grounds keeping, top notch! Bugs in the room, and the staff was rude. They charged me 10 bucks to park my car myself. The room was standard. Five bucks for water. The ice box was broke. Staff was rude.

Everything! Nothing! Outstanding amenities. Oceanside pavilion was remarkable. Will be staying here again soon.

The service from the entire staff was the best I have ever experienced. Not one thing. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and have stayed at many excellent hotels. The service at the Marriott Sawgrass Golf Resort and spa exceeded all of our expectations. The staff is well trained and cannot do enough to insure that your stay is perfect! The rooms are extremely comfortable and the views were spectacular! The private beach club, available to guests is a wonderful bonus. The amenities were wonderful and the Restaurants were excellent. If you are a golfer; you would be hard pressed to find a better resort. This is definitely a 5 star Resort.

Convenient to local beaches. Seemed very focused on convention attendees. Not good for families. While the price was right, I would not stay in this hotel again. When checking in, the staff seemed annoyed and offered little assistance. The focus was on business travelers, golfers and convention attendees. I was traveling with my family and felt out of place. The resort also nickel-and-dimes you for everything: $10 for parking; $12 to rent a beach chair, no outside food on beach (so you have to buy food at their restaurants) etc. Self park was a long distance to the hotel.

Stay was great and hotel was great. Problems couldn't believe they charged $12.95 for one day ofWIFI when cheaper hotels do it for free. Pool needed cleaning and hot tub didn't work.

Great staff and facilities. Charged for internet. The Sawgrass Marriott is a very nice resort in Ponte Vedre, Florida. The rooms are modern and clean. The grounds are very well kept and landscaped beautifully. Would highly recommend.
