I stayed here and the rooms are nice for the price i paid. The staff are friendly and i felt welcomed, i only spent two nights here as it was just a stop over from coming back from the islands, the best bit of this are is there is an company which have an airport bus for just 130 bhat it was called united travel connection they have a big blue sign outside they are just off khaosan road, and while iwas waitint for the bus i found out from rthe great guys that work there that the same bus ruturns from the airport for just 50 bhat as they don't want to come back empty.

This is a nice place to stay if you want to visit bangkok. It is near many interesting places. Khaosan road has very attractive pub and bar which you can enjoy on the night time.

a group of young girls returned from the bars and continued the party with a few guys from 3am until 6am. i asked the receptionist to address the issue, they sent up security one time, and then did nothing else. the party continued with singing, shouting, doors opening and slamming closed. when it was clear the party was going to continue, reception would not answer the phone. total dereliction of duty in my book.

I got room 208 which is smaller than the others because it's at the top of the stairs to the second floor. so when people would come in lat and drunk there was quite a bit of noise. the bathroom is small and poorly lit, but this is a value hotel in the khao San area, so certainly sufficient to shower and get out into the city.
