At 11 p.m., we were informed that our flight to Dallas was being cancelled due to weather problems at the arrival city. We were told to collect our luggage downstairs, reverse our progress through exit procedures and call the airline reservation number to rebook. No help (neither vouchers or advice) was given on accommodations for the night--a shameful performance on the part of the airline. However, using the airport internet facilities, I was able to book this hotel and it turned out to be one of the best of our trip. To tired, frustrated travelers it was a beacon in the night and I guarantee that we will use the Golden Tulip from now on when in BA. The location was perfect--near shopping and dining, the breakfast buffet (included) was excellent, the rooms (while somewhat small) were exquisitely renovated and the staff was superb. I give it 5+stars!
