I think we did not like the area of Juan Les Pins mostly. Becuase it is a popular area, the room was pricey. One would expect more for what we paid. We had clean beds, working toilet and shower with hot water. The towels were TERRIBLE the first day - sand paper - but nice a fresh the next... go figure... I would suggest NOT staying in Juan Les Pins, but rather somewhere else on the Cote D'Azure - namely Nice or Monaco

This hotel was awful. The room desparately needed renovating. It needed paint, new carpet, you could see the dirt accumulated on the top of the cloth chandelier. Worst of all, though, the bathroom smelled like urine, as if no one ever flushed the toilet. It got worse every day. The hotel is across the street from a very popular open air Polynesian club with live music until about 3am. You had to sleep with the shutters closed and the air conditioning on to not here the music. Otherwise, the location was great. I would not recommend this hotel unless it was renovated.

i think this hotel badly needs a repaint and refurbishment. Even for a budget hotle it is very shabby. I also found the owner very defensive when I asked if the hotel had a late check out facillity. ( which I fully offered and expected to pay for) He was quite terse with me, which I found very rude. I was also treated with suspicion just because I am a single traveller which in these times i found very unfriendly. The rooms at this hotel are also very, very small. The room was smaller than my bathroom at home. However as i didn't request a different room, as I found the blase attitude of the owners and staff off putting. I shal never stay there again, or recommend it to anyone.

The receptionist doesn't speak English. Yopu have to keep your keys with you all day because there's nobody in reception almost any time. The room was so small that you can´t open the door completely because you find the bed. The toilet was dirty and in a very bad care. If you can find another hotel, please choose it. If you pay 60 euros per night for a single room you don´t deserve those circunstances.

Again this hotel was very hard to find and I really think that Venere must make the maps of these hotels more accurate. The hotel was very clean the staff were very welcoming but the facilities in the room were very poor and cramp.

We found the hotel to be tidy, but ancient--and not necessarily in the charming sort of way. The door to the bathroom was of the accordian sort that refused to close, and it was impossible to shower without spraying water everywhere. Furnishings looked as though they hadn't been updated in nearly 30 years, and for €90/night, it was a waste of money. The man working at the desk seemed to speak no English whatsoever, but was very polite. When our air conditioner worked, it dropped the temperature in the room from 28 C to about 25 C ... Pay €10 more and stay somewhere 3-star!

We could not use the private beach without paying for beach beds. The room was so tiny only one of us could move about the room at any one time. There was nowhere to put our cases and we had to move them every time we wanted to pon a window or wardrobe.

rooms are quite small even in triple ones, bathroom was incredibly tiny and shower curtain was filthy. Beds are OK, TV useless, location great. Overall, if you going to be on the beach or walking around all the time ( and location is perfect for that ) then hotel is more than OK.

Also bitte: Das Hotel Savoy ist, trotz idealer Lage NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT UND IN JEDEM FALL ZU MEIDEN.

The owner Jean Pierre was charming and very helpful. The property can only be described as sad. The decor must have been 20-30 years old since last decorated. Indeed my wife and I commented it would almost be worthwhile buying the property so it could be redecorated as it could be improved immeasurably. What was most disappointing were the facilities available. The web site unfortunately gives one the impression there was an outdoor pool, tennis, golf, private beach, water sports, gym and sauna??? It turns out these are leisure facilities in the general area!!! The web site should be amended to indicate that these facilities are not directly associated with the hotel. After all in most coastal towns you could reel of such a list and more! The hotel really had no facilities other than a bedroom and a small smoke filled area for breakfast. The owner brought breakfast to our room and throughout our visit was kind - he made it bearable. I guess the reasonable price should have told us not to expect much - but the website misled us. Our love of France remained intact, if a little dented. Mike & Pam Clark

The hotel was on a very busy street but was right in the middle of several nice resteraunts and was close to the beach. There was a parking garage nearby but the price was rather steep. The bathroom was rather cramped and the room was nothing to write home about, but who wants to spend much time in a hotel room when you are on the Riviera.
