Convenient. Asked for quiet room got one overlooking the freeway. Good for business travelers not for vacationers.

My wife and I travel a lot and we have for years. We expect things to go wrong and we expect things to "not" meet our expectations. Why? Because that is the way it is. Occassionally we will get pleasantly surprised but not often. We asked for a King when we made our reservation. Of course they were "out' of Kings so we had to take 2 queens. Then, the freeway noise was ridiculous, but like I said we expect to be disappointed. At *** a night it surely was not worth it. The breakfast buffett was mediocre at best so we only dined there once. That was plenty for us. Next time we will find something better in that area. Like motel 6. I say this because of the word "value". We did not recieve value at this hotel.

Had a wonderful trip. The drive from LA was beautiful. Santa Barbara is gorgeous and the beaches are a 'must see'. Purchased a stay with wine tasting. Highly recommend this as it included wine, 3 tastings and a delicious breakfast. Hotel is an easy drive to the wine country. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. I will definately return to this area again.

Very clean, comfortable, very good staff assistance, well balance breakfast. Completely satisfied. Excellent location relative to the surrounding activities.

Quite a nice stay - make sure your rate includes the breakfast - this can be a separate charge depending on how you booked you stay. Other than that, lots to see and do in the surrounding area, then rest very comfortably when you return from your outings! Rooms are quiet clean.

Close to a lot, firestone brewery wineries, UCSB, Indian casino, Solvang. Went to check outUCSB with my husband and 19 year old daughter. We wanted to do some fun stuff for us too so after a great dinner at the Hitching Post down the street we took our daughter to the Indian Casino and I gave her 20 and had a lot of fun (I won $300 on nickels)! Next day went to a local market, got some picnic stuff and had a picnic at Sanford Winery and headed for home. Looking forward to many return trips if she ends up going to school there.

We were traveling from Los Angeles to Cambria and wanted a good half way point to stay overnight. We love staying at Marriott hotels, and found this hotel offered a great rate for our overnight stay. When checking in, they did not have a room with two doubles (as we had requested) so offered us a room with a king and we could get a sleeping cot. I said that was fine. They noticed that my husband was a Marriott Elite member and upgraded us to a suite at no additional charge! We received a HUGE two room suite with a king in the bedroom and a pull out sofa in the living room. The room was immaculate, in great condition, with up-to-date decor and a plasma tv! The pool was a very nice heated pool, with a nice jacuzzi spa. Breakfast was included in out rate, and we found it to be exceptional. They offered fresh fruits and breads, made to order omelets, hot and cold breakfast items (on a buffet) and excellent coffee. They also offer a full-service Starbucks in the lobby, which was very nice to have! The staff was cordial, very professional, and knowledgeable about the area. This place was worth every penny we paid!

Included breakfast was great. The health center was very nice. Staff was very helpful. The pool was very close to the highway so it was kind of noisy. Very nice. The room was great. We especially like the included breakfast. The health center was very nice lots of equipment, clean, and open 24 hours a day. The business center was also very nice. We could check our e-mail and print off our boarding passes.

Hotel is in the winecountry, beautiful area and easy drive from LA.

Nice hotel with very professional management staff. Less than satisfactory service with the daily room cleaning. The hotel is actually quite nice. Convenient to Solvang and the surrounding communities. We did have a problem with the maid service. Had to ask for the service to be done after having all day to do it, then we were shorted on standard supplies and again had to ask for them. When slow to handle the situation, I spoke to the duty manager. He was very apologetic and professional. The situation was handled immediately. I believe that the management was sincere in their statement that the experience that we had was a rarity. Overall, we were all pleased with the hotel and would stay there again if in the area.

Nice rooms and beds. Lost item not returned. We had a great stay. We did leave a valuable item in our room upon checkout. We called the next morning and the staff did not find it. it appears that one of the maids did not turn it in.

Beautiful holiday decorations and attractive lobby. Room wasn't as fabulous as expected. Beautiful lobby area, hotel rooms are just average.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was very comfortable there, it was very nice. This was a nice hotel in close proximity to the wine region where we were tasting. It had everything we needed to be comfortable, friendly helpful staff and was clean and fairly quiet. I would definitely stay again.

Very pet friendly, we received a complimentary Frisbee and water dish for our dog. I would have like a bigger room. We visited in December and the hotel was very nicely decorated for the holidays. The lobby area and most other areas of the hotel are aesthetically pleasing and the proximity to the Buellton Vineyards is perfect.

Close to freeway, shopping. Heater in room would not heat. Nice, quiet, staff quick to help with problems, affordable.

Clean, modern, up to date. Restaurant too expensive, absent of garnish, veggies, etc. I would recommend it. Easy to find, up to date facilities, roomy. Waiting places & lobby great furniture and decor.

The lobby was beautiful. Our hotel room was out dated and old. I requested a king bed and I received two doubles. The hotel would not change to accommodate my request. This is an ordinary hotel with no characteristics that stand out as interesting or likeable. I would choose another hotel if I had to stay in the area.

Friendly staff and convenient location. We were very pleased with the staff. Very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great and the linens are fabulous! The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions including the beautiful city of Solvang and Santa Ynez Mission.

Elegant and beautiful setting, with great value. Freeway noise a bit too loud. We were pleasantly surprised by the elegance of this hotel. It was tremendously clean and everyone was extremely friendly. We would not need to find another place next time, as we travel to Solvang/Santa Ynez once or twice a year. Our choice will be the Marriott Santa Ynez Valley in Buellton.
Date of Stay:

Location, price value for when I stayed, and that I could bring my pet with me. The only complaint I have is the TV had white lines across it, and the toilet tissue was rough. Overall, I am happy with this hotel choice. The beds were comfortable, and it was clean and the staff was very well-mannered. My dog enjoyed staying with us as much as we enjoyed staying at this hotel.
