Santa Catalina Hotel

Lying at the heart of Doramas Park, the first-class Santa Catalina hotel is situated at the centre of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and offers its guests fabulous views out over the surrounding garden complex and the sea. It is 20 minutes walk to the Triana and Mesa y Lopez shopping streets as well as to the marina and the nearest beach is just around 3 km away. The airport is 25 km away.

This luxury hotel was built in 1890 and renovated in 2005. It comprises a total 202 rooms spread over 4-floors. Amongst the first-class facilities count a spacious lobby area, a Spa centre, bars, a casino with free entrance, public Internet terminal, WLAN access to Internet, conference rooms and 2 restaurants. There is also a room service and laundry service as well as car parking facilities and garage. Finally, there is 1,000 m² of beautifully kept gardens surrounding the hotel.

The comfortable, colonial style rooms come with a marble bathroom, a hairdryer, telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a mini bar, air conditioning, a safe (included in the room price) and a Canary Island style balconies and terraces.

A freshwater swimming pool with sun loungesr and parasols is to be found in the garden complex. There is also a spa centre (access to those aged 16 and over, spa treatments come at an additional price) with sauna, a Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, a gym and paddel facilities. Golfers are entitled to a reduction on green fees at El Cortijo en Telde course (is not hotel-owned).

Breakfast is on offer every morning; guests may serve themselves at the breakfast buffet. At midday and in the evenings meal may be chosen from the sublime menu. It is possible to book either a half-board or an all-inclusive stay.
