Sands Motel is definitely a value for money. It has good amenities and also a pool which was a surprise for us. we didn't expect it for this prize. Its also veery closer to lot of eat outs like Mcdonalds, & so...just 7 miles to the falls...definitley i will recommend to my friends & familiy.

Location is better. but the room size is pretty small. bathroom has no space to keep ur dress. very basic room amenities.

The owners were very friendly, the room was comfortable with a desk, a table and two chairs. I don't like the location because it was too far from downtown and the price wasn't cheap.

We had never been lodged at a Motel and it was our fisrt time in one. The truth is that it has been wonderful. The motel is near the Falls, the rooms are spacious, cozy and clean, with table, chairs and a big coat rack for the clothes. The bathroom also is big and clean. Walking during a few minutes there are supermarkets and several restaurants, so much of snack food as a McDonnal's, as typical americans restaurants. On having come (late in the night) they attended to us brilliantly and gave to us many explanations to be useful the time to the maximum. What seems to us that it had been likely is a room in which to be able to take the breakfast without having to take it to the room. In any case, it is the first and only motel in which we have been and we don't know if the custom in these housings is this...

The Sands Motel was a nice enough to spend a night at Niagara for such a money. Although it was 6 miles from central Niagara, there was a free shuttle bus. Also the swimming pool was great after all day's sightseeing. We were disappointed about the breakfast that included only few (not really fresh) donuts. Staff was available and verly willing to help. For the price the motel was great.

The Sands Motel was a great and affordable stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great, motel was just minutes away from all attractions and dining. The rooms were very clean and maid service was great.

sands motel is a nice and clean family owned property. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were not great but we got what we paid for. The walls are very thin and you could hear your neighbor's conversation fairly accurately! The bathroom was very small and cramped. They provided us with fridge and a microwave on request.

I did not like the hotel. the carpet was not clean.. the location is good... thats the only advantage..else its not good value for money.. Also the staff tried to play smart to extract more money from your pocket. Would not suggest someone to stay !!

this motel was not what we expected. there was no dead bolt on the door.it had what appeared to be a clasp used as the lock. a good swift kick and anyone could have broken in the room.the t.v. set was placed on the wall to where you had to duck to get from the side of the bed. the t.v. was placed next to the bathroom door.the bathroom door did not fit properly. there was a gap at the top of the door and the bottom dragged on the carpet. you could see into the bathroom when the door was shut.also you had to sit sideways on the toilet, the toilet seat sat right onto the baseboard heater.the toilet seat was also broken.the microwave and the mini refrigerator sat on the floor.the only good thing about the room was the king size bed. it was comfortable. the maid service was excellent. we had clean towels everyday. the room was kept neat.
