Our Suites have been designed with a breezy, seashore feel to bring the Sandpiper's uncompromising views of the sky, sea and sand right through your private verandah into your living room. Bathrooms and kitchens are finished with tile and marble countertops, Kohler fixtures and top-of-the-line appliances. Each suite includes a washer and dryer plus individual climate control for heating and air conditioning. Select furnishings include Serta 'master suite' mattresses in the bedrooms and a luxury sleeper sofa in the living area. Flat screen televisions are standard in the living rooms. Custom carpet and wood grained floors are throughout. Understand, all of our units are individually owned but do offer the same decor and amenities.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the covered recreation areas while relaxing away from the hustle of downtown. Just a 10 minute drive to the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, where a peaceful 80 minute ride awaits you. Upon disembarking in Lewes, shop at Rehoboth Beach's many fine retail outlets. A 45 minute drive to South Jersey's gambling paradise, Atlantic City! Catch a high energy show at one of the casinos, or try your luck at the roulette wheel!
Recreation Information: Cape May is host to year 'round activities and special events. Many activities that occur all year long include birding & nature studies, deep sea fishing and dolphin/whale watching, Wander through Cape May's one-of-a-kind shops or relax with a lemonade on the promenade. Several golf courses are within a few minutes' drive. Kayaking & salt marsh tours are avaiable in season.

The Sandpiper's location was perfect for shoping or the beach. while staying we did it all shop beach and dinner. It is walking distance to everything we needed to have a great stay in Cape May.

To give you a frame of reference of my ratings, I'm used to staying in various hotels. From the Red Roof Inn to the Four Seasons in London, I've stayed at them all. However, I never really stayed at BEACH hotel like the SandPiper. First the location was great, we had a stunning view, walked to the beach/shops and could hear the ocean at night. Second, we didn't have to bring a thing to the beach, the SandPiper is part of the main hotel and you can use all o their Beach Club amenities! Have a small child, this is the best. We felt like royalty when we arrived at the beach. Service was wonderful and there's nothing like having lunch served to you while your under a yellow umbrella watching the waves crash. We did go off-season, and I think this made a difference as the beach was not crowded. The room walls were thick and we could not hear anyone else. The rooms were very clean and safe. What a great stay, we were planning our next vacation to the SandPiper when we left. Some tips... 1. Ask for the 3rd floor. 2. Stay during the week and forget the weekends (too expensive). 3. Try to goo just out of season. Hope this helps!

The Sandpiper was a pleasant surprise with a view of the ocean from the balcony. We were not bothered by crowdedness or noise. Pay the price if you enjoy serenity. Explore the shops & restaurants of Cape May or take a day trip to Wildwood for more entertainment needs. Cape May is a quaint, romantic town & it's Hotels & Inn's reflect that country charm. You can bring groceries for the kitchen that has an electrical stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and cookware. Enjoy the DVD player and lovely wall mounted televisions & upgraded bathroom.

I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway to the Sandpiper. It was the first time we went there and we were impressed with the modern rooms, the cleanliness and our view of the ocean. We plan to go back this year.
