We just got back from a week at this hotel. Very clean, drinks were consistent, food choices were good. Don't go to the breakfast or tour the facilities with staff. They will pressure you into a time share. We saw couples sit for HOURS with staff while missing out on their vacation. Just say no and keep walking. We were not happy with Travelocity. When we arrived at the airport our flight had been canceled. We were NOT notified. The agent at the desk managed to get us another flight but we had to drive to another airport! We made it just as the gate was closing. Then our luggage never made the flight. We didn't get it until the next day. Since we flew out of another airport we needed to change our departure flight. (otherwise our car would be at a different airport) We could not get any help from the Travelocity rep at the hotel. I could not get ANY RESPONSE from the international number on my Travelocity paperwork. I spent an entire day calling all the numbers, NO RESPONSE! We ended up flying into the airport we were suppose to fly out of. So our car wasn't there. I receached a Travelocity person and asked if they would provide us with a rental car to go pick up our car. They refused to help us. I will NEVER use TRAVELOCITY again. This was my first and las trip with them. The roaming knome is lost !

Had great flight into Cancun. Nice rde from the airport. The beach was awesome. Customer service was excellant. Room was clean and a lovely view. Fresh towels and sheets daily. A great place to leave children at home and have an adult vacation. Food was great and entainment nightly. Going back again for a longe stay.

The rooms were not nice and careful, they will try and sell you time share! The room had mold by the airconditioner and we had to sleep in separate beds. You will walk to the beach, or ride an annoying golf cart that you will spend half your time dodging. The bikes they supply were Horrible! Don't go far unless you are handy. The food was good, some better than others. Book the restaurants EARLY, they fill up. Snack Bar is BAD, stay away. The service...Awesome. you know, I was very disapointed as to how many American would not tip. These people make nothing!! A dollar for a couple drinks is more than acceptable. $1 PP for buffets. Bring a bunch of $1 bills and use them!!! If you can get this for a good deal, go...but don't pay full price.

While the resort itself was nice, we we highly dissapointed with our rooms. We had 2 rooms ,not connected although we were promised connecting rooms. One room had only 2 beds, a desk and no chair. The bedside lamp was stained, and all beds were rock hard. There was no tub, only an outdated shower. The all inclusive part was nice, but the food was the same every day! Also, the ocean was way too rough to swim in on most days. I actually got bruises from the waves. My children who are all good swimmers could not swim due to the strong waves. I love the culture, the views of this area, and although most of the staff was nice, we definately do not recommend this outdated resort.

Our family went here for Thanksgiving week and had a great time. This was our second time at the resort and we enjoyed it. The beach has lost some sand and the bags of sands used to stablize the beach look like whales. Much fun jumping off into the water. Food is better than other all inclusives, but does get boring. The town of Playa del Carmen has some great resturants and is only a short cab ride away. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful. While tipping is not required (or even expected) I find that the personal service level goes way up if you give 5 to 10 pesos thoughout the day. There is a scam going on with the sailboat (only one), but I trust management will handle it. The beach guys book up all the time and then "sell" the times with bribes. This a minor problem, this is a quality resort. The hotel is next to a wildlife preserve which gives you miles of quiet beachs to roam.

This was the first time my wife and I have traveled to Mexico and also our first time at an all inclusive resort. It was everything we expected. The resort was very nice and very clean. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Checking in was fast and easy. After you check in some one will ask you if you want a tour of the resort. Unless you plan on buying timeshares don't do it. Just find your room. If you want to be close to the beach stay in the older section we stayed in room 2336 close to everything including the beach. Make sure you make resevations for resturants first thing at guest service or you won't get in. I would stay there again, but DO NOT FLY *. The are late to depart, lose your luggage, and are not remotely helpful in customer service. Overall it is a clean and safe place to stay.

My wife and I went to this hotel in July of 2008. All I have to say is that this is great hotel. The rooms were very nice. They were very clean and well kept. The service was first rate and the staff was very nice. The only thing was the beach. Although the water was crystal clear and not that rough there were huge sand filled bags that were about 50 feet out into the water. I guess the beaches are eroding becausee of the rough sea's. Too bad though they are extreamly nice. Your would think that they could just fill them in every year instead of puting the ugly bags of sand out there. I do have to say that they were really fun to play on though. All in all this a great resort and we WILL be going back EVERY YEAR!!!!!!!!! No doubt about that. I highly recommend. You cant beat it for the price. It compairs to resorts 3 times the price I think. GO!!! you will not regreat it.
