When room was booked, I asked for and received a "smoking" room-when I arrived, hotel wanted to charge an extra $200 JUST IN CASE THERE WAS SMOKING IN THE ROOM! Jacuzzi was not available/dry the entire time. We stayed at another hotel.

Decent room for the price. Very insufficient air conditioning. Couldn't cool the room.

Everything was great, except the location. It was a little difficult to tour the area, since it is mostly highway, without many sidewalks. It also had no shopping areas close by, for those without vehicles. We were fortunate to have a shuttle bus from our Association to take us around the areas. The free shuttle to and from the airport was fantastic. I enjoyed my stay very much, and the staff were wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this location, but recommend that they have some sort of transportation.

Convenient location, friendly customer service. Very friendly front desk staff, very clean rooms, and a good location.

The beds were rock hard. I would recommend this hotel for anyone. The customer service was great, the location was good, but the beds/mattresses need to be improved.

No positives to report on. Poor wireless internet, no privacy for printing documents, noisy and bed was too soft. Won't ever stay at the Saskatoon Sandman Inn.

Nice. Not a 4 star hotel but a solid 3.0-3.5 The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The service levels and restaurants are not at that level. However, the hotel is quite good, since downtown is a short drive away and the airport is next door.

Location. Not clean, hot tub was not working, lounge was not open, no AC in hallways or anywhere except guest rooms. In need of new management.

Furniture was nice in the room. Unknowledgeable staff, room was 120 degrees, air condition did not work. Check in staff told us to go to a room that didn't exist (twice). Then gave room next to ice machine & elevator, room was so small and hot. They tried to fix air but didn't work. We checked out & went to the Travelodge.

Good location, nice. Not much. Good location, nice and cozy.

Convenient location. Not a nice location for a walk. If you do not want to eat at Denny's, crossing the highway to go to a nearby restaurant is difficult. We found it offered what we wanted: convenience to the airport, cleanliness, a nice room and pleasant staff. It is practical but not romantic.

The price was what attracted us. Poor communication/ room very hot/ no elevator. We have stayed at the Sandman Saskatoon before and enjoyed our stay so we were expecting the same experience when we came to stay for the night. This time though we had a bad experience. At check in we were told that the elevators were not working for the 3rd and 4th floors - and we were staying on the 3rd. Upon being informed that we'd have to go up the stairwells, we carried up our luggage 3 floors to discover all the doors to the hallways locked from the outside. So my wife ran down the stairs while I waited for her to figure out what was going on. 15 minutes later I decided to come down with the entire luggage again because the stairwells weren't air conditioned and I was uncomfortably hot. Just as I get down, my wife and a hotel employee are just getting into the elevator. I guess the card lock for our floor wasn't working so the hotel clerk had to use a special card to get us to our floor. At this point my wife was informed that we should never have been told to go up the stairwells - as the doors are always locked for security purposes. We were told our room was non-smoking. Despite the fact our room did smell alright the 3rd floor hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. I didn't appreciate the fact that after cleaning up and heading out for the night we smelled like an ashtray because of walking down the hall. Cigarette stink just seems to cling to a person. When we got to our room I found that the TV didn't work. I finally figured out that not only was it unplugged from the wall, but that the power bar breaker was off. Not an impossible problem, but inconvenient nonetheless. That night - despite having the A/C on high the room was still unbearably hot. My wife resorted to sleeping on the ground right in front of the air conditioner to stay cool. The thermostat in the room read well over 25 degrees C. The next day upon check-out I was asked how my stay was. I explained the issues tha

Was OK but nothing special. I felt I was treated as an inferior customer. This was the first time I stayed at the Sandman but I prefer to stay at the Radisson or even the Hilton, although somehow the Sandman has a higher rating.

Nice large rooms with good lighting. Hotel airport shuttle doesn't have very good hours or does not show up on time. Hotel is a good value for the price in the area of the airport. Nice rooms especially the suites.

Close to airport. Quite expensive. Restaurants were convenient, proximity to airport also convenient. Located on busy intersection (loud traffic).
