This hotel was conveniently located and a great value for the money we paid.

Okay, it was a little shabby. But still nice once I settled. I have to commend the staff for their patience. I went into the first room and could immediately hear a crying child in the adjoining room. I called the desk and they moved me, and actually upgraded me. The next room, I opened the door and there was a very strong smell of ammonia, like housekeeping had spilled it or something. I called the front desk again and said they might prefer I go elsewhere. Still, they moved me again without complaint and the third room was perfect. The property is somewhat older and the room doors slammed, and one of the outer door I was near slammed. But I was comfortable and wasn't afraid to take off my shoes. I only say I wouldn't stay there again because I my return trip I found a place I liked a lot better.

Had to come into Albuquerque on business and chose this hotel. It was a good choice - affordable and good breakfast. Comfortable rooms as well.

It was good for the price. It was old just needed up dated. The place was good for an overnight stay. The place is a bit outdated. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

We drove through NM on the way to OK from AZ. The beds here are way comfortable and the hotel is now 100% non-smoking. We will most definitely come back!

The place was filthy and I have the pictures to prove it. Mildew in shower/tub. Carpet dirty and raggedy. Heater vents had crumbs & other debree in it. Chair smelled & room smelled. Even though non-smoking, smoke came through the vents heavily. The pillows were worn out. Had to fix the luggage holder. Blow dryer did not work & was dirty. Iron had melted stuff on it. Very gross for 50.00 per night. I felt bad for my elderly parents who paid for my stay.

Even though the entire hotelwas now non-smoking.

Comfortable beds, clean, 2 restaurants, great value ... would recommend this hotel

Hotel was a decent value, except for paying cash @ checkout only to be re-charged on my mastercard bill! After finally contacting the manager they said they needed a copy of my reciept, which I have not found, but aparently they do not keep records of sort, so I will NEVER stay at this HoJo location again, & maybe not another HoJo anywhere!

Friendly manager, eager to make us comfortable, and breakfast was good. Not clean, musty smell, broken AC-Heater, andbedspread wasdirty. We did not feel that it was at the standard we have received previously. Needs too many physical upgrades.

Hotel is under renovation - maybe things will be better when it's done, but in 3 days we were there no work was going on, so it may be a while. But that does not explain why housekeeping does not refill your toilet paper, why they think some scrambled eggs at breakfast can be called an omelet, why the phone cord is broken on both ends, why the toilet runs constantly, or why the internet access works intermittently. The hotel is located right on I-40, it's pretty quiet, and the rooms are a good size."

Helpful staff. Clean, and well-kept facilities. Convenient and safe location. Outside noise was disturbingly loud in the morning. I called the hotel in advance to let them know my smoking and bed preferences. The entire hotel was non-smoking. The front desk staff was super-helpful and friendly. The hotel was older, but newly renovated. Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. I was impressed that even breakfast was complimentary. I would definitely recommend this hotel again.

Very pet-friendly Fix the sliders in the ground floor rooms We have stayed here twice for a total of six nights. My only complaint is that one of the staff parks his enormous pickup truck right where guests have to drive into the parking lot. When people are checking in it is very difficult to get around it.

Very pet friendly. Nothing really. There aren't a lot amenities, but it is a great value and allows dogs. The rooms were very clean considering that dogs are allowed in them.

I stayed at the same hotel 4 years ago so am glad to see they are remodeling as it needs it. Great location & I actually paid the same rate as 4 years ago even though they now include a free breakfast. Staff was friendly & helpful. If you don't mind a little older facility it is an excellent value. We will stay there again!

Its location related to the purpose of my trip. The room was horribly tiny. This hotel is aging, in need of repairs and modernized. The rooms are tiny and uncomfortable.

"Literally. The staff was moderately friendly, the breakfast was mdoerately good, the location is good. However, my remodeled room smelled, my telephone was missing parts, my travel companion's room was strongly mildewed, and it was very noisy throughout the night. No amount of money saved would tempt me to stay at this hotel again."

Nothing. Very disappointed the hotel did not clean our room and give us fresh towels. Will not stay at the Howard Johnson again! This hotel was awful. They did not do anything for us when we explained the staff did not clean the room.

They are remodeling the hotel currently---we had 2 rooms. One on the top floor was OK but the one on the bottom stank like mildew and was noisy.. The free breakfast was crammed temporarily in a room so it wasn't really up to usual standards. Check back when they finish the remodel but stay away for now.
