Worked out OK since we enjoyed the night life downstairs in the Village. I didn't like not having a front desk right down stairs, they only had one coffee cup for the 2 of us, and the rooms were smaller than a standard room, but was decorated better than a standard room.

The resort. Room was not cleaned daily.

The room we had had no chairs, wash cloths, hand towels, small plates, dirty rug, walls had marks on them, the floor molding had scars in them, ask security or the staff a question, they pay no attention to you. Noisey A/C. Ramada Inn, Best Western or any of the many hotels along the strip at least have a desk in the room and a chair and a bath matt when you get out of the shower. Plus they charged us twice for a absolute joke. If you have money to burn, this is the place to do it

The complex is very nice, but awfully far from the beach! You need to drive there and cross the highway takes a lot of time, pool by the beach only. The parking lot is always full and you have to wait for somebody to leave to park. The Village is very nice and has shops, restaurants and dancing clubs, but a problem if you want to sleep before midnight and need silence. The condo was perfectly maitained, top conditions, nice and confortable. Check in at another building Personnel kind of absent. I wonder what would happen if had a problem.

Convenience of having everything we needed close by. There's nothing we didn't like. We arrived and checking in was so easy. We got into our room and it was comfortable and clean. The restaurants were just outside our doorstep. It was a romantic get away and since it rained the whole weekend, our studio room was perfect. We're planning a Summer trip with our children. Absolutely loved it!

For the money , go somewhere else. In our room, noisey A/C, no wash cloths, no bath matt (when you get out of the shower/bath to ptevent from slipping), no small plates so we could put our cups on, dirty rug, stains on walls, floor molding had dents and cracks, no chair to sit in, no desk to put my laptop on, staff was terrible. Ask them a simple question, and they acted like they were deaf' a credit card at check in, when I already paid for the room. I don't like showing my credit card to anyone unless I'm buying something. Go any where else on the strip. Save your money. Hotel 6 gave us better service.

great hotel, beautiful location, the private beach is to die for. the employees are very friendly and ready to help. the room was not that great, very small and tear out, but the installations, the pool, the ambiance were perfect.

Nice surroundings. Not close to the beach. Low quality not even close to a 2 star hotel.

We decided to stay relatively local to our home for New Year's Eve but still wanted a romantic getaway. Sandestin went above and beyond my expectations, and we will be back! We stayed at the Luau. The rooms were fabulous, especially for the price! Full kitchen, big patio, nice furnishings, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The beds were a little stiff, but not uncomfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary trolley service that services the entire property; just call from your room, and it's waiting when you get downstairs. We were able to enjoy our evening more because we didn't have to worry about driving, parking, or traffic. We were able to have an increadible dining, dancing, and celebratrion experience by taking a dinner cruise which is available on the same property. Shopping, dining, and nightlife activities were available in abundance. We also scoped out activities for when we bring our family back with us. Of all the places I've stayed world-wide, I couldn't believe one of the very best was in my own "backyard"! My only regret was not being able to stay longer.

My recent stay at the Sandestin Resort was not what I expected. The resort was beautiful but for what I paid I expected that they would at least clean our rooms and not just bring in clean towels. I also thought there would be a restaraunt on site or at least close by. The nearest dining site was at least 20 min away. on the bright side we did receive free bike and canoe rentals.

Close beach location and pool. The room was dated and not as clean. The bed was not comfortable as well. Great location, with pool onsite. The hotel rooms seem dated and the beds no where near as comfortable. The place needs an overhaul, but the location is fabulous.

We stayed in the Westwinds and had one two-bedroom condo and one three-bedroom condo. The 3 bedroom was much spacier and better for the needs of our whole family. The staff was very friendly. We loved the convenience of the shuttle service and the accessibility of all of the shops and restaurants. We would definetly stay here again!

the player clud is a very nice setting. One of my rooms wasvery nice ,but the other room wasn,t clean and had to be given another one .We check in at 7:30am was told that the rooms would be ready at 4:00pm .One room wasn,t ready to 5:00pm and the other one wasn,t clean ,and was given thr run around until 9:00pm before we receive another one on the fifth floor (#24). Had hair in drawer by the master bed and dirty tissue with blood on it in the same drawer. But #12 was very nice and would love to visit again under better condition.

Bathrooms were nice. That is was not on the beach. This hotel was nice other than it not being on the beach as we were expecting but it was a nice, clean facility.

Didn't know this HUGE, HUGE resort was a mix of condos, timeshares and private homes. We ended up being a 10 minute drive from the beach. We were promised a bayside view hotel room with a kitchenette. When we checked in at the Bayside Inn we were met with a "sorry for the construction" sign and were told we were "upgraded" to the other side of the bay and given keys to our new room. When we finally found the building where we wanted to be...there was no road to get to it. We stopped and asked several people (valets) who couldn't help us. Finally we found out that we had to go to the underground garage and follow the signs. We had to lug all our luggage with no assistance. When we found our room our keys didn't work. We had to walk through the underground garage and back to another building. We were given another set of keys....they didn't work either. Same routine of walking back to the other building but this time they said maybe the door wasn't working so they put us in a small room on the first floor overlooking a pool (in use 24 hours). We were in a condo unit with no one available for assistance. Didn't know we had to bring our own towels for the pool or beach. We don't think it was worth the "resort" price tage for the service received.

We were upgraded to a 2 room plus balcony room. Total, there were 4 singles, a king, and a pull out full couch. All was clean and nice. Included with the stay- 4 hrs bikeriding per person, 1 hr canoe or kayak, and some other stuff. You can ride your bike through 5 miles or so of bike path and area is very family friendly. There is also a shuttle on property so you never have to drive- even to the beach.

Great location and restaurants. Mold on walls in room. Would not stay here again.

Staff and service were horrid! Cleaning staff did a poor job and other staff seemed unwilling help. We stayed in Lasata and the whole building was worn and dirty. Prices are definitely "resort lofty." Nowadays when you can get internet access free almost anywhere, they charge $10. Save your money. There are better, more family-friendly places to stay.

I've stayed on the resort previously, but this was my first stay at the Bayview Inn. It is on a quieter portion of the resort property and sits right on the bay. While it may not be as convenient to Baytowne Wharf as the Grand Sandestin, it is a nice way to have a quieter stay in one of the less expensive locations on the property. The pool is also right on the bay, which gives a nice backdrop. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if the price is right.

Nice towels, comfortable beds, good amenities. When we checked in the desk clerk was very rude. I think the price might have been a little high for this property, but it was a busy time in the summer season and I understand that. We had to wait lengthy times for the shuttle, but it was a great convenience for this property. The whole San Destin property was gorgeous and we had a great time.
