Spread over five floors, this professionally managed luxury resort offers tasteful amenities to discriminating travelers. The Sandcastle at Birch Bay has condominium units, guest amenity areas, retail space and the attention to detail of a first class hotel. Our two-bedroom condominiums average 1050 square feet, and the three bedroom residences averaging 1280 square feet. Each unit is professionally decorated and furnished and includes washer/dryers, balconies and dual line phones. Every unit has a view. The on-site restaurant, The Dry Dock, provides room service and convenient food service. Guests have access to a ground floor health club with men's and ladies' locker rooms and a fully equipped workout room. A daily cleaning fee will be charged directly at the property. Relaxation and fun can be found in Birch Bay. Over breakfast, enjoy bird watching for eagles and herons or lunch on the shores of Birch Bay while kids splash around in the Northwest's warmest tide waters. You could also take a bike ride while enjoying views of Mt. Baker and the San Juan Islands. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. Check-in is located at the front desk. It is open 24 hours for your convenience.

What are your breakfast options?: There are a few restaurants within walking distance serving breakfast on the weekends and a couple within a short drive that serve breakfast all week long. The hours and prices vary from each restaurant, but generally it's 8:30am - 11:00am.
What transport is available to get around?: The ideal transportation around the area would be to rent a car. There are taxis available to schedule pick ups and transportation, but you do need a car to get to most places.
What can I do nearby?: As far as attractions and entertainment in the area, Birch Bay is a very seasonal location offering a wide variety of outdoor actives such as the beach, biking, hiking, etc. We are also within 90 minuets to Mt. Baker, about an hour from Vancouver, B.C. and 2 hours from Seattle. There are also a couple neighboring towns that have a bit to offer from boutiques and antiquing to shopping malls to scenic drives.
Do you have internet?: All of the units here are equipped with complimentary wi-fi and Ethernet access.
Do you provide parking?: We do have ample parking spaces right at the resort at no extra fee.
