Our stay was awful. They had nothing for breakfast and we had no coffee or knife in our room. When we complained the next day all the co-workers were pretending that they could only speak Spanish and one actually barged into our room checking to see if we have coffee in our room. I hate this place and will never come back. We went to the Canterbury( sorry about spelling) and had the best time. The actually had breakfast (waffles) and the pool was really nice, not messy at all.

The Sandalwood Studios was an ok hotel. The room was very large with a nice eating counter and stools and full kitchen. We liked the fact there was a closet with door to store our things. We were surprised at the need for repairs in our room, large holes in carpet, pieces of countertop missing among many small things. We were there for two nights and were very dissapointed in the fact that there was no housekeeping done in our room. We had to use the same towels because when we tried to get more, after being gone all day, we discovered the front desk closed and no one answered our calls. If we had known this we would not have left them all in a wet pile when we left. The literature on the room also said continental breakfast included and there was no such thing. The coffee and juice machines were broken and there wasn't so much as a crumb to be found.It is very close to the attractions in that area and reasonbly priced. We would probably not stay here again.

Price was great and sleeping area was large. Not much, just some water stains on the lamp shades. This was a great hotel for our short trip to the St. Paul area. The room was large with two king size beds and a sleeper sofa, and plenty of room to spare. The kitchen was full size, with a sink, two burners, a full refrigerator, and a microwave. The only thing wrong with the kitchen is that it has no cooking equipment or utensils, silverware, etc. A small warning--the room is just that, a room. There are no separate rooms, as you might be accustomed to in a suite, not even a divider. Overall, however, the stay was great and the people were very friendly.

Arrived approx 7:30 pm after a long day of traveling with two children and two dogs. Get checked in and enter the room to find the beds unmade, garbage everywhere. Had to wait over a half our for room to be cleaned. No applogies. Staff was unfriendly and of little help. Would not recommend.

Conveniently located to where we were visiting. Middle of summer & air conditioner wasn't working. I wasn't happy with hotel at all. Air conditioner didn't work and the sofa sleeper springs were broke. Not all supplies were in room like website said, but found out we had to ask for them, which should have been worded different on website. Would only stay there if absolutely needed to.

Roomy suites. Not very clean or well kept. We expected a nicer quality; it wasn't filthy, just not very fresh. One cabinet face was broken and lying inside the cupboard, breakfast was really bad, pre-packaged junk. We had kids with us, hoping for at least some toast or cereal. We won't be back.

They have a kitchen but no pots or drinking cups so the kitchen was un-useable. You would have to go buy your own cooking items just for the trip.
