The pool was wonderful, we spent most of our time there. We also went snorkeling and kayaking (both were a lot of fun). They had jet skiing and windsailing but the staff was not very happy about teaching us how to use the equipment. The bar tenders and the event staff were generally really good. Also the staff that worked at the breakfast buffet were wonderful. At all of the other restaurants on the resort the waitress's were very rude and definiatally wouldn't go out of there way to help in any way. You are not allowed to tip which is ashame because maybe that would be an incentive to be polite to the customer. The people that came aound and brought the beverages at the restaurants were much nicer than the waitresses. There was wonderful live music everynight as well as other activities such as "the talent show" which was suprisingly pleasant. My husband and I renewed our vows on the beach and the wedding coordinator was an angel. She definially went out of her way to help out in any way she can. Stay away from the spa! I walked in on the day I was to renew my vows and stood at the counter for about 3 minutes before the woman sitting there even looked up at me(which seems like a very long time when you are just standing there waiting). Then I had to wait another 15 minutes for the hairdresser to show up (I was the 1st appt. of the day so I wasn't expecting them to be late). Then after my hair was finished the stylist told me to go to the store and buy hairspray (for $70 I expected that she would put it in for me) So I had to go but terrible quality hairspray for $6.99. The grounds were kept very clean- nothing was ever out of place. Anytime someone would leave an empty cup or towel around someone came and picked it up in record time. We did enjoy our stay but wished that all the staff were friendly.

Sandals Whitehouse was an extremely laid back resort. The service was great & the accomodations were perfect. Every room had an ocean front view. The bartenders at the swim up bars made the experience very memorable. The only thing we didn't like was not being able to get beer stored in the refrigerator in our room, they stocked juice, pop & water only. I think if you were in a suite you coul d get that. The food at all restaurants were excellent, never had a bad meal. This was the best vacation we have ever had & would go back next year. If you are into just kicking back, this is a great resort to go to. Just make sure you take a few outfits for dress up dining.

I thought this resort was beautiful. It was a cruise type setting without being confined to a ship! The beach was beautiful and very clean. There was lots of natural shade on the beach as well. The restaurants had very good service and the food choices were plentiful. The only negative comment I have is concerning the ride from the airport to the resort---Very scary!!! I wish that this resort had been closer to the airport-good thing there was plenty of alcohol to calm the nerves! The rooms are very nice and clean. There were plenty of clean towels for the pool and the beach each day we were there. I would definitely go back there.

My husband and I chose this place as our honeymoon destination and had a wonderful time. The Rooms were adorable and pretty much what we had expected. We had a fantastic view over the ocean and loved the little day trips offered for a little extra fee. One down side is that only the house wine and house beer are free, if you want a different wine or beer you have to pay for it. However, mixed drinks were also free and they were delicious. The food was great but we tended to find the same flavors used in all the restaurants whether we were eating Italian or Oriental. The amenities were tons of fun and we enjoyed everything from kayaking and snorkeling to the day spa. Overall we had a time-to-remember and plan on visiting other Sandal resorts in the future.

Very good available water activities. Pools and swimup bars were excellent. Top shelf liquors. Activities in the evening were also enjoyable. Music, live bands, etc. Restaurant food was good. The buffet meals were plentiful and of good quality.

My husband and I went to the Whitehouse for our honeymoon. Although not thoroughly impressed by the Jamaican roads or the travel time it was all worth it once we arrived. The property is impecable. The staff courteous and knowledgeable. The food delish especially Cafe de Paris. We enjoyed having the choice between beaches and pools, outdoor activities as well as indoor. The Red Lane Spa was top quality. Take advantage of the tours and staff as they will make the most out of your stay.

Sandals Whitehouse was a perfect destination for our honeymoon. Our friends had recommended it, and boy were they right about the beauty of this place! It is about 1.5 hours from the airport, but I loved that the resort was all by itself. The beach was ours and nobody bothered us. We didn't want to leave! The drinks were good (maybe a little too strong for me) and the food was good. Most of all the staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

We were originally supposed to stay at Sandals Inn, but, when we reached the airport, we were told we were staying at Whitehouse. Though we weren't impressed by the long, scary drive, we were greatly impressed by the service, food and accomodations at Whitehouse. The review that complains about the food and being overpriced must have been written by a true snob. We absolutely loved the resort. It couldn't have been better. As we are glad to have stayed at such a nice resort, we do still have a beef with Sandals about sending us so far away from where we were planning on staying.

"This is definately the place to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. Food was wonderful, Service was wonderful, Scenary gorgeous! Schedule your stay for at least 4 whole days as travel time takes up lots of time. Can't wait to go back. We had a wonderful time!"

"My husband and I got married there and returned there for our first anniversary. We love it there. However, the ride there is awful. My husband gets motion sickness, so it was not fun. Almost a 2 hour ride in a van. The luggage was hitting him in the back of the head since we sat in the back seat. But, the resort was awesome!!!!"

We spent our 10 day honeymoon at Sandals Whitehouse! It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They bent over backward to make our trip the best ever. The facilities and food was great! The private beach dinner was definitely worth it :)

"This is a wonderful location. Any problems that we had were quickly addressed. We only stayed for 4 nights, and it was not long enough to do it all. The entertainment was not the best, and it was the same band every night to start out the show. For some drinking advice, feel free to ask for extra rum in your drinks, and many people also brought their own large cups, which they will gladly fill for you. Ask for name brands or you will only receive bar quality alcohols. Appleton XV is the way to go!"

"My husband and I have stayed at several Sandals resorts. This is the newest and it shows. Good layout, great amenities. Restaurants are clustered together for convenience. All rooms have ocean view. French villa is the party area. We stayed in Italian and it's closest to main facilities. Our room was close to a service area, which was noisy at times, but overall I love the place and am returning soon."
