This is absolutely the BEST resort ever!! The beach is gorgeous and the sand is soo soft to walk on. The water sports were awesome. DT and Toby on the snorkeling trips are wonderful and very funny. Make sure you go and see them!! We had a swim up room with butler services. That was the best decision we ever made - Thanks for the advice Fayette from tripguy!!! I will never stay at another resort. Sandals is the only place for us!!! We've even booked our next trip for next year!!

Definitely spend the extra $$ to upgrade to the nicer rooms. The ocean view is breathtaking and the noise from the busy street is blocked by the rooms behind.

We had a great time at Sandals Negril. The staff was outstanding, especially the entertainment crew. We felt at home and were very well taken care of. They have done an amazing job w/the resort! It was a beautiful, calming, safe environment. We'll definitely be back not only because of the resort atmosphere, but mostly because of the kindness and attentiveness of the staff! It does get a little noisy in certain room locations, but the staff was very open to finding us a quiter room.

After many hours of travel and a harrowing 1.5 hour bus ride to the resort, we were shown a dirty, small room. The staff was very friendly, yet for over */night, I'd expected a better room. I didn't even want to take a shower - the bottom of the tub had brown stains on it. Food: Outstanding! If you do decide to go, you need to at least have the 24 hour room service option. The four restaurants were really yummy. Beach: The best I've ever seen. There is a shallow sandbar and no plants/debris in the water, so its very pleasant to swim/float in. Activities: We went water skiing and it was really sub-par. The driver had been drinking, there were no women's skiis and the driver didn't know how to pull up a skiier. He drown me three times before he finally figured out not to "hit it" in order to get me out of the water. If you are going to do an excursion, do the zip-line tour. Its amazing. Overall, overpriced and a little dissapointing. Oh and don't stay on the bottom floor. The staff is incredibly noisy in the mornings so sleep is impossible.

At the end of the night a staff member would call the room just to ask how our day was and if we needed anything. Then told us to have a good night and a nice day tomorrow. It was a nice touch to have that kind of service.

Beginning with our arrival in Montego Bay (traveling to Negril), we were greeted with a limo driver saying that the Sandals Negril Resort was over-booked and that he was bringing us to the Sandals Montego Bay Resort. Upon arriving, we were told by a greeter that we would have to stay at this property until the Negril had rooms available.( We booked 7 mos prior and paid a lot for Negril). Our stay was to be for 7 days. After spending 4 days at Sandals Montego Bay, we were driven to Negril. Our driver made 13 stops along the way. Finally, when we arrived at Sandals Negril, our room was dirty, the table had crumbs on it, tub was stained a rust brown, and both trash cans still had trash in them. The food was good, but you have to guard your plate because giant black birds swoop in trying to help themselves. When we went for a walk on the 7 mile beach they boast about, well....it's more like 7,000 feet. On either end of the property there are guards that write your name and room number down (when you walk past their property line on the beach) so if someone goes missing they'll know who it was. You had to get up at 5 am to claim a beach chair by putting a book or flip-flops on it, there wasn't enough to go around. The staff are very friendly and accomodating, working with what they have. Spa treatment was pricey and not recommended. The last smack in our face was when we were leaving they offered us a ONE NIGHT free stay on our return!

My overall stay at Sandals, negril was excellent the play makers staff was excellent very warm hearted, talented, and friendly. The dining staff was very helpful. The front desk, photo shop, gift shop, bartenders, tour guides, and the grill employees. I would love to visit again as soon as I can the staff makes you feel like your home away from home.

Been to Whitehouse, Royal Caribbean, and Negril and Negril was the most disappointing! Around 10 a.m. on day 3, we found a toothbrush (not ours) left on our patio and brought it to the attention of a groundskeeper who didn't have gloves or pan to pick them up but said he'd have them removed promptly. These unsanitary items were not removed until housekeeping turned back our bed that evening. When we arrived at Sandals, we noticed straws, bottletops, and pricetags in the landscaping off our patio. We later witnessed an employee sweeping debris into the landscaping rather than sweeping it into a pan to dispose properly. This employee overheard our conversation with another guest about the trash in the bushes, prompting him finally to remove all trash from the landscaping. On day 4, it took two calls to get our toilet fixed (tank wouldn't fill so the toilet wouldn't flush...another unsanitary condition). On day 6, a housekeeper or barstocker relieved him/herself in our toilet leaving fecal residue...again, another unsanitary condition. At each meal, we had to ask several times for water, salt/pepper, and coffee/cream; meal services appeared uncoordinated but the food was EXCELLENT. We encountered one very rude bartender on three separate occasions. In summary, we experienced a problem everyday, which we reported but it seemed as though employees and management had no pride in "ownership" with their respective responsibilities to resolve the problems that we observed. Concierge rooms back up to the main coastal thoroughfare, which is very noisy; a lot of beeping and "zooming." In spite of the disappointment, we enjoyed our vacation and while we still have faith in the Sandals brand, we will not return to Sandals Negril.

IDisappointed in having boats in the background of my wedding pics. The beach area wasn?t very nice. Other wedding couples were slightly disappointed as well. The resort has photographers that go around 24-7 taking pics of you so you will later buy them. These were the same photographers for the weddings and I was disappointed w/the poses chosen by photographer. I plan to return to Sandals, but if I come back to this one it will only be to see the staff members and enjoy the great food and entertainment. Overall, I was happy and it was a fun trip.

This was the best vacation. My whole family went for my uncles wedding. It was gorgeous, the staff was exceptional, the rooms were kept so clean. We just got back a few weeks ago and were already planning our trip back for next year. There's so much to do thereare shows at night along with a disco, during the day you can snorkle, scuba dive, wind surf, swim in the ocen or one of the two pools at the resort and the activities go on.You will fall in love with this place.

"Over all our honeymoon was wonderful. We only had 2 experiences that were not Grade A. 1st the Couples Massage was done with cold aloe. While nice, the lady gave the massage like she'd never had one herself. The second was Kimono's, the food was aweful. All the other restaurants and services were top notch and the Jamacian people are wonderful. We made friends and had a great time."

"My hisband and I had a great time. We had a butler and he was great, he got drinks for us while we were on thr beach, made dinner and spa reservations for us, anything we wanted. The hotel rooms were very clean and spacious and the beach seemed like it was never ending. A great trip, will go back."

"We went to get married and had a wonderful time. Had a few problems on our first day but the manager was great and even gave us a room upgrade for our troubles! Definitley get a room with a stocked bar, otherwise you pay for bottled water/beer. Staff is excellent. Food was good but not as expected, didn't have a large seafood variety. Parts of beach had old cloth tarps in the shallow water and it felt discusting on your feet. Overall it was beautiful and our wedding on the beach was magnificent!! They could have more night life, the bars close too early."

"Yes the ride from the airport was long but well worth it and the culture was eye opening. We got married on the beach, it was no hassel and a great view. Definitly spring for a beachfront suite. Always something to do from snorkeling, off resort tours, or activities with the friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent. Not a dull moment. Cannot wait to go back."

Sandals Negril was awesome! We got marrid there and it was the best decision we made. It was no worries and hassle free! The resort is magnificent and I will definitely be visiting again! Don't let anyone tell you that it isn't awesome because it truly is!
