It was fairly nice for the rate. I might stay their again if the opportunity arises and the rates were the same. The room and bathroom was fairly cean. The carpet was very dirty, Bathroom small.

Anacortes is convenient to the B.C. and San Juan ferries and not much else. We didn't realize it was a full 80 miles from Seattle. The town is located on Fidalgo Island above Seattle, and Whidby Island is accessable by a bridge over Pass Island (gorgeous drive). The motel is bare bones, but doesn't pretend to be anything else. We asked for a kitchenette room and got one, but the kitchen was completely unequiped. So unless you're willing to bring your own pots and pans, silverware and dishes, cooking is pretty much out of the question. It strikes me as the kind of place you stay in after you've camped for a week and need to clean up! Also, we thought we were getting a two room suite, but really we got one long room with a kitchenette and (very tiny) bathroom in between. It wasn't bad, but when travelling with teens, privacy is always a nice extra!

Motel is small and we had a very discounted room. The motel is old, and our room needed some TLC. Closet area had no cross bar or hangers. No air conditioning but did have a room fan and hot weather is not often here. This is just a place to sleep, nothing else. Room was clean, just had an old feel to it. We drove around and there are only four choices in this town, I would give this the 3 spot of the 4 we saw. Probably would try one of the other motels next time. Wireless worked well.

This was a stopover while waiting to take the ferry to Victoria, BC. It was great for the travel weary. After a week of travel, we needed the laundromat on the second floor. The kitchenette was an unexpected nice touch. The staff was friendly also. There were no frills at this hotel. (You buy detergent by the styrofoam cup.) But if you need a cheap, clean room in a safe neighborhood, this is the place.
