Hard to enjoy a room with wall to wall drapes! The carpet was very dirty and sticky.Location was great, but too many steps to get to the hotel after a day tramping around Venice

This is a basic european hotel. Long flight of marble stairs to reach hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and carried our luggage.

This is a great little hotel. The rooms are small but well-furnished. The location and price are unbeatable. The service very friendly and helpful. But people who don't want to climb 30 steps or so from street level to reception (and more to some rooms)be warned there's no lift. So you might not enjoy the hotel as much.

As with most places in Venice there was no lift and two flights of steps to get to the hotel, but we knew this when we booked and for us it wasnt a problem. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On arrival they gave us a map of the city and pointed out the best sights and modes of transport to get to each of them. No matter what time of day or night they were always happy to make a cup of tea or coffee if you wanted one.The breakfast consisted of cereal, fruit yoghurt bread rolls toast and croissants with a selection of cheeses and pate, fruit juce and tea or coffee, very filling as you could have as much as you liked. The room itself was very small but very comfortable and as about the only time we were in the room was to sleep, it was more than adequate. I would be happy to stay here again.

We visited Venice. Great location next to Piazza San Marco. Can leave luggage at no extra cost while touring Venice. Great breakfast but don't leave and then come back for seconds (not allowed).
