The hotel is definitely central but the room the we had was ridiculously small compared to the price we paid ( not appropriate to a 4-star hotel!). Very old furniture and a 1950's bathroom completed the odd effect. Breakfast was ok, although not in line with the frankly too high price required for it (15 euros). Steer away from this hotel, there are much better places around the Opera area.

We had the pleasure of staying here for eight nights in June 2008. We couldn't be more pleased with the hotel; its location; its staff and the value. While hotel was located on a quiet street (Rue Caumartin), it was still a short two block walk to the Opera Garnier; the Roissy Bus (from Charles de Gaulle airport); the subway system; and only one block from major bus lines. For shopping, one again.....a short two blocks to Galeries Lafayette, Printemps and the Boulevard Haussmann. Our room was on the 5th floor (Room 506); at the front of the hotel with a private balcony overlooking Rue Caumartin. The room far exceeded our expectations as it was larger than anticipated and was kept immaculate by the cleaning staff on a daily basis. Breakfast was included in the price and was more than adequate with a choice of juices, cereals, croissants, scrambled eggs, sausages augmented with a choice of tea or coffee. We would recommend this hotel to anyone without any hesitation. Would we stay there again? Absolutely! And we probably will. It was a very enjoyable experience.

I've stayed in Paris for 5 days and can say that location is perfect. The size of the room leaves much to be desired.
