The refined use of stones, flagstone, sandstone, granite - in the textured interiors suggests the Arts and Crafts architectural style with a hint of the New West. it was very pleasant...comfortable felt good...receptionist a little snooty and snappy, but she does not make the place any less appealing...she is replaceable

It is a shame that such a beautiful hotel is so poorly run. The service I received was abysmal at best. Upon returning home I felt compelled to write a two page letter of complaint to the general manager. He never responded. Absolutely, positively, not worth the money that they are demanding. Stay elsewhere and spend the additional cash on a fabulous meal at The Kitchen.

This is my 4th stay at the St. Julien, but won't be my last! The lobby is very welcoming with live music in the evenings. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms offer very comfortable bedding and a beautiful bathroom.

I stayed at the St.Julien just this past week and enjoyed every part of my stay but was surprised by the Restaurant. Most hotel restaurants I shy away from due to lack of creativity and service but I will gladly go back to Jill's for there friendly waitstaff and DELICIOUS dinners. Thank you!!

This was an elegant and comfortable hotel. The lobby with it's Fire & Ice see through fireplace was relaxing as well as breathtaking. The bathroom was tasteful, modern and well-appointed with a lovely deep soaking tub-something I have never seen offered outside of a bed and breakfast inn. My two main concerns would be with the afternoon tea and the hot tub. The hot tub is never supposed to exceed 105 degrees fahrenheit ( I believe that legally it shouldn't be above 104 degrees) and it was clearly so hot that we could not enter past our calves. I am very experienced with hot tubs and this appeared to be a dangerous situation. It is possible the thermostat was broken-we notified the front desk and it has hopefully been resolved. It was too bad we were unable to enjoy it as it was a very lovely and quiet setting. Concerning the tea-it would be better if the hotel changed their tea service to a porcelain pot and cups, which would maintain the heat and prevent the tea from cooling too quickly. Also-the scones were tough and the tea sandwiches needed salt or a little seasoning. The lobby setting for the tea was very relaxing and they have live music and cocktails in the evenings.

Style: Contemporary, modern, arts-and-crafts, Spanish revival and feng shui. It tries too hard to be everything to everybody.Rooms: Adequately sized. An LCD TV in our living area. Nice balcony, but buried in snow on our visit.Service: Good.View: Ours was excellent?over rooftops of the Foothills.Beds: Ours was short of comfortable, but better than most.Spa: Crowded on my weekend visit, but many luxurious details.Restaurant: Very good?a credible alternative to local restaurants.

The St Julien is located in downtown Boulder, one block from Pearl Street where you will find terrific dining and shopping options. The University of Colorado is within an easy walk from the hotel. While I was in Colorado I had a hiking accident and broke my ankle. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. They loaned me a wheelchair and I was never without ice. I used room service regularly and it always came in a timely fashion and was delicious. I can't wait to stay there again.

St. Julien Hotel is located right in the heart of Boulder. No rental car needed everything was in walking distance. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to a friend. Just a bit pricey.

I expected a great experience here and was in no way disappointed. The staff was efficient, rooms were appointed very well, and housekeeping services were superior. The outdoor patio was a wonderful feature and the service there was also superb. The hotel location was ideal for walking access to dining, entertainment, and hiking. Can't wait to book my next stay!

This is our third saty at the St. Julian. The rooms are lovely, roomy and always clean. Love the separtate bathroom, tub and shower and the private door for the toliet. My only suggestion would be additional hooks to hang towels on after use (behing the door) and add open sheveles in area where the hair dryer is located. The pool, hot tub and workout area are very nice. We use them daily. Although, this was the first time I've every seen the pool and hot tub in need of a major scrub and bleach cleaning. (Not like the St. Julian at all). Jill's is always good and their breakfast brunch is perfect. We ate there three times. A bit expensive to inlcude our our boys, ages 7 and 10 since they only eat one muffin, two pieces of bacon and a single egg. They have a done a great job with the evening music in the lobby. We went every night and ordered drinks and food. I missed some familair faces at the check-in, but was happy to see some at the entrance (bellmen). The st. Julian is a beautiful hotel and the staff is kind and proffesional. We will be back again next year!

"The rooms, service and spa were great! It's located near many things to do in Boulder. We (6 year old daughter included) also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi"

Elegant, beautifully furnished common rooms as well private rooms. Although one of the most expensive in Boulder it is well worth the price. It's location near Pearl street makes dining and shopping experience blissful.

The hotel was beautiful and the amenities were wonderful. We were disappointed by the spa however as the staff did not answer the phone and we were untimatly not able to book any spa treatments during our stay.

"The St. Julien is truly home away from home. The staff is accomodating and the actual hotel facilities are wonderful. If you appreciate fine living, this is the place to stay in Boulder. The entire experience is made nicer by the reasonable pricing available. We continue to enjoy this hotel with no complaints."

Gorgeous facility, accomodating staff, wonderful concierge, short walk to everythin, beautiful views. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed, seperate water closet so more than 1 person can be in there at a time. Gorgeous slate and marble. Wonderful bed linens. Worth going to Boulder just to stay at the hotel!

"This hotel is beautiful and the service is good. We were most impressed by the turndown service. They lay out robes and slippers, turn down the covers, leave a new age-y CD playing, and leave a mixed nuts/dried fruit snack. The Sunday brunch was fabulous, although a little pricey at $30 per person."

The St. Julien is in a great location in Boulder and is well kept up, but the service was very poor - wake-up calls were not recorded, cars were not brought up when we called for valet service and housekeeping was very slow to respond to requests. These are basic services that you would expect to find at any hotel, so it was extremely disappointing to find that such an expensive hotel could not meet basic service standards.
