We were in washington 2 days. The staff exspecially the porter staff and doorman were extremely nice, helpful and friendly whenevr they saw us and anyone around. The hotel itself was really nice, really good location too,the only thing that i didnt like was that you had to pay to watch movies on t.v which i dont mind usually but thought they were a bit expensive to buy.

Great location for exploring Washington on foot, by bus, hop-on/off tour bus, or taxi, but 8 minutes walk from a Metro stop. Georgetown is only a 12 minute walk. We paid * extra for a junior suite which was a great room with a separate sitting area with second TV, kitchenette etc. & a bed I would like to have taken home with me! Good sized modern bathroom. Nice staff at the hotel. Meals seemed a bit pricey so we made use of the large number of small restaurants and shops that are a short walk away. Well recommended for those looking for a mid-priced hotel in a great area . Fitness room & computer room looked fit for purpose.

The location of this luxury hotel made it a real gem. We were able to walk to everything... Dupont Circle, Georgetown, downtown DC, The White House...Excellent location. Near many restaurants with many price ranges... many very reasonable. Also near a Trader Joe's (for cocktails & appetizers in the room before dinner... thanks to a fridge in the room).Staff very helpful & polite.

The location is perfect for someone wanting to see the site in DC and doesn't mind taking a short walk to get there. The service was great. We had to check out at noon but our flight didn't leave until 6 so they let us let our luggage at the hotel and pick it up later on. No complaints whatsoever.

The staff at the hotel were extremely professional, polite and helpful. The hotel is quite and kept clean. The suite was spacous which included 2 TVs, a etting area, full size fridge, stove, microwave. Breakfast was good, but a bit over-priced. Yes, I would stay there again.

Check in very fast. Very helpful, friendly staff especially the Bellmen. Longer walk to the subway stations that I thought it was. . cab fair to the main street in Georgetown. Parking was -* per night. Room was newly renovated.

The room I had was wonderful; it was well designed. From the hall, I entered the living room office space. A short hall had the kitchen along the right wall - stove, refrigerator, coffee maker. Bathroom on the left. The bedroom was quiet, with good furniture, and even wooden slat blinds. This hotel was wonderful. The fitness room is well set up. I would return anytime.

I am 22 and took my brother (18) to D.C. to see to look around since he was considering going to college there. The staff was amazing. We got the room very cheap but had 2 double bed + extra room with couch and television.The staff was very nice!Downside: The metros were far away, 5-6 blocks which made the walk at the end of the night long.

This hotel is about one thing..GREAT ROOM, especially for the price. the rooms are large, beautifully decorated, with a full kitchen, including oven and full refrigerator! The bathroom were slightly above average. There is not much going on at this hotel however. very small lobby. small restaurant. staff were all friendly and nice. good location, equidistant between georgetown shopping and the national mall. lots of starbucks, restaurants within a few blocks of this hotel. dont think twice about staying here. just book it!

Hotel would have been nice if we had been treated like we paid full price for our room and not bought on travelocity... We arrived at the hotel at 11pm and were given a room, when we got up to our room we had a bed that folded out of the wall and the room had a sliding wall separating it from the next room over. The room appeared to normally be a conference room. The bathroom had a sign on it that said employees only. They had given us a bottle of wine with a bag of ice that was melting all over the counter to make up for our small room. We spent the next hour complaining and were moved to a handicap room instead. If we had been given a normal room the hotel probably would have been nice. Also the free weekend parking they advertise about is on a first come basis. needless to say we did not get free parking and had to park several blocks away from the hotel. We will not be staying there again!

Our family decided to visit Washington, D.C. for an overnight visit. We chose the St. Gregory Luxury Hotel and Suites based on the description online. I must say, our experience was better than we could have hoped. Once we arrived, we were promptly greeted at the front door and assisted to check-in. At check-in, we were pleasantly suprised that they graciously upgraded us to a suite, which was wonderful to say the least. Very clean, large, and comfortable. We ventured out of the hotel to find the neighborhood surrounding very clean and friendly. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We took an Old Town Trolley tour of the city, which picked us up within walking distance of the hotel. After our long day, we we again greeted at the door and helped in with all our bags from the day. Upon check-out the next morning, they held our bags and allowed us to keep the car there until we were done our sightseeing. We will definitely go back to Washington, D.C., as there is still so much more for us to explore. When we do, our family will definitely stay and the St. Gregory again.

We did Washington in style and with ease with St Gregory's as our base. We walked down to the Mall the first afternoon; did the Smithsonians the second day; and the third, Georgetown. Really great staff.

We checked in early, they had our room ready. They upgraded us to a suite for no extra charge. 1st time visitors of DC. Staff very friendly and very eager to help. Felt like royalty. Recommend to people with family as we travelled with 2 small children. Room very spacious very clean. Bed very comfortable. My one and only one complaint is that the room was so large that the air conditioning didn't cool off the living area very well.Was over 100 that weekend.
