The reception /concierge Michael was extremely helpful and pleasant to me. "Everything is possible" was how he put it and bent over backwards to assist in every way with my travel problems. The hotel is charming and the location is excellent.

Hotel St. Germain des Pres is ideally situated- close to a metro stop, great cafes, extravagant boutiques and landmarks of all types (La Seine, La Polaine bakery, Laduree, Cafe de Flore, Cafe les Deux Magots). Amenities offered by hotel are great too. Front desk personnel are accommodating and helpful...will allow you to use their computer for internet access. Also...there's free wifi in this hotel. This is a great selling point that should be highlighted!!

I stayed in one of the "attic" rooms for a couple of nights. This was probably the smallest room I'd ever stayed in - the bathroom had a sloped ceiling, so I couldn't stand up in the tub! The room did have a window on either side, though, so I was able to enjoy a nice breeze. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the WiFi worked very well, and the location was great. Even though the room was tiny, it was big enough for a single business traveler like me. I'd certainly stay here again.

Charming hotel in a great location. Rooms very cramped and the air conditioning did not work well, but overall a great way to experience Paris

This hotel is a perfect Parisian hotel located just off the Seine in a vibrant lively area. The staff in the hotel are excellent and we couldn't fault the service we recieved. The rooms were on the slightly small size but had everything needed and were beautifully clean and decorated in traditional style. We would definately return to this hotel.

the location is perfect, we enjoyed les Deux magots café and Flore, mornings and evenings. The Hotel is smack in the middle of the St Germain des Prés area with Old Books shops, Fashion Shops, etc... Unbeatable location. Rooms are small but well isolated from street noises.

wonderful location, within walking distance of most major attractions, close to metro, superb shopping and eateries in immediate area. A tiny dolls house of a hotel, beautifully decorated, very quiet, 5 star service, would certainly return.

We were in a double on the second floor. The reason I gave some lower scores for feedback was that we did not know the hotel was doing some outdoor renovation that started at 8AM M-F. This was bothersome because we had to have the window open (no A/C) and there were men working right outside our room. This was not only noisy but intrusive as these men could look into our room while we were showering and getting dressed. We have been to Paris several times and love staying in that location. Also the morning we left there was no hot water. Overall if the construction was not going on we would have enjoyed the hotel even more. We could not take a photograph of the hotel due to the construction. It was not too much of a problem for us but we heard many people complaining. The reason I scored the size of the room lower is that Americans are used to larger rooms - sorry! The bathroom had been renovated and was very spacious. They could take the desk out of the room (21) and put a chair there and it would be helpful to a traveler.

The hotel was pleasant and the staff were polite. However, the room air-conditioner was not working properly and was VERY noisy. Area above the bed (near the air condirioner was very dirty/dusty and had not been cleaned in a while). As a result I had an allergic reaction and was sneezing the minute I entered the room!! The surrounding area around the hotel was amazing. The cobled streets, the quaint restaurants and the general ambience...very nice.
