St George was a great hotel. Clean, quiet and the staff spoke good English and were helpful. It was a good walk into the old town about 30 mins not 10-15 as we were lead to believe. Also tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom would have been nice. It is suitable for couples, singles who are good walkers. I would recommend the hotel but inform the guests that it is a walk into the main town and Charles Bridge.

This was my first stay and I would use the hotel if I am to visit Prague again. Overall I enjoyed my stay in this lovely centrally located clean hotel. I was not too impressed with the hotel bar. There was only one selection of beer which was quite surprising for Prague. Also the receptionist doubled up as barman/bar lady and it seemed as though minding the bar was more a hinderence for him/her. But overall I would recommend the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel on the whole for free internet access, break fast, location; close to metro and friendly staff, but the only minus point; noise from the air conditioner

The St George was in a great location, about a 10/15 minute stroll to main shopping area and Old Town. It is located just off a main street so no dark alleys to deal with either! The majority of the hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful - booked an evening trip for us without any fuss (Folklore Gardens - great fun if you want a night out). Don't forget to take your swimming costume too and use the jacuzzi it was very relaxing after a long day walking around Prague. Prague as a whole was lovely - more expensive than I had expected but eat in local traditional places and you will be fine. Make sure you make the trip up the tower at Charles Bridge - spectacular views over the city. Use the tram/metro system too it is much cheaper and great fun.

Excellent staff who were knowledgeable, spoke English very well and were generally friendly in assisting with questions and things like directions. Arranged an excellent, prompt and moderately priced taxi pickup from the airport for me when I requested it. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Located in a safe area close enough to the sites of the Old city (really is a 10 min walk to Wenceslas Sq.) but far enough from touristy hustle and bustle to be quiet and for nearby bars and restaurant to be very well priced. Easily accessible by the subway at I.P. Pavlov station. Bottom line: highly recommended for single travellers, young and older couples and families. If you stay at St. George, dine at least once at the Evergreen Club located one block away - excellent food selection (incl. rabbit, venison). Likewise, a nearby bar called something like U Chernogo Konice (Black Horse) offers dark Kozel beer... an absolute must try when in the Czech Republic!

Very quiet and awesome *** hotel, about 700 m to venceslao plaza; speaking good italian and english. On the third day, unfortunatly, our bedsheets was not changed (why?), and on the last days the POS was unable for the payment, but the girl at the reception was absolutely un-efficient to help us. Good staying, whatever.

The hotel is near to the metro of Pavlova, but is far from to the centre 20 minutes by foot. The journey was comfortable and the employees were professional, they spoke many foreign languages, included Italian. The breakfast was good(there was also nutella).

Good hotel with friendly, helpful English speaking staff 24/7. Did not make the breakfast during my 2 day stay, but Wenceslas Square is a 5 minute walk away. Room was a good size and clean. Would stay here again, especially with the deal we got on the price.

Beds with "U" form, spring mattress really bad. We want to change to other room but all have the same problem. Employees at reception stupid for the most part, just only one men with glasses who work the afternoons was kind, only with him the bar had clients. Internet free only 15 minuts per room, although no one was waiting. Breakfast without hot meats. There are a lot of hotels near this, try with another, I’d do.

I'm very satisfied with this Hotel, a very convenient price/quality accommodation with clean rooms, nice and welcoming staff and tram and subway stops at just 200 meters. The sorroundings are safe and it takes a 15 min walk to get to St.Wenceslas Square

Stanze calde, pulite. buona posizione vicino al centro con il personale gentile e disponibile e che parla molto bene l'italiano. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ottimo per un week-end o piccoli soggiorni.

The website says there is a pool and a whirlpool open 24 hours. There was only a whirlpool and it closed at 10PM. Overall the hotel was excellent though. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very well done and fresh. The room was larger than I thought it'd be and the staff kept it very clean. They were a little put off when we asked for extra towels, but got them just the same without complaints. The hotel will arrange a taxi to pick you up at the airport for an extra cost (not a shuttle like on the website). I was happy with the hotel, but website services listed were my main reason for staying there. Having most of them be false was a bummer.

Very nice hotel 5 mins walk from Wenceslas Sq. Very confortable rooms and good buffet breakfast. Non-smokers have the 5th floor all to themselves and no street noise! You can have the Jacuzzi and fitenss all to yourself (1 hour) just by booking it at reception. 15 mins free internet per day as well, good to check your emails. Staff very friendly. Excellent.
