Saint George hotel is a brand new four-star luxury hotel built in an elevated position overlooking the beautiful sandy beach of New Golden Beach,well known to windsurfers. Built in traditional Cycladic island style with brilliant white washed walls and blue wooden shutters and offering many amenities including a large outdoor swimming pool with pool bar. | We stayed in a "family" suite" and had a very nice time. The room was large - even by North American standards. I think that all the family suites are on the ground floor (for safey reasons but the view from our balcony was till breathtaking. You will need to rent a car if you are staying at this hotel. There is very littel around this area at this time and most of the bigger villages are 20-30 minutes away, The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms are very clean. The hotel staff are great as is the pool. Golden beach is a 10 minute drive away and should not be missed. |
