Pool was awesome. Very nice bathrooms at the pool and very clean. Poker room is very good, great tournaments 3x a day and lots of action in the cash games. Kids had a great time with video games and roller coaster. Lots of Nascar stuff on site. Monorail is a huge plus. Reasonable prices on food nearby, not like the main strip. Workout area had a great view of Red Rock Canyon and equipment was decent. Great place for the frugal traveler.

The front desk was not motivated to help. They were rude and not helpful at all. Just try to reach the front desk from your room once you are checked in. Not going to happen. There was Mold all over the bathroom grout. Basically you pay for what you get.

It is a convenient spot at the strip. It is a great hotel located conveniently at the strip.

The room was OK considering the price. Bed was just fine. It was nothing fancy. It was clean. The hotel adds a $6 per day fee that is not included in the online travel website price. Internet is $13 per 24 hours, not free. WiFi signal was too weak to work. I had to be tethered to a very short cord for the wired internet.

I stayed at the Sahara hotel 9/4/08 thru 9/8/08. This was not a mini-vacation. I think the room I stayed in had not changed since my last visit in 1961 at this particular hotel. Those were the days of the Rat Pack. The room was clean except for the carpet. It had many stains. I was told that they planned to remodel that section of the hotel. People working there are very friendly and helpful. The people in the casino part are very nice and helpful to novice gamblers. I think this is a fine place to stay if you want to save money and use your room just for sleeping. !

Nothing. Door key, cleanness, everything is bad, my the worst experience. The electronic door lock system was broken. This took me more than one hour. In this way, we missed the beginning part of O show. On the other hand, the engineer said the door will be fixed in one hour. However, when we went back to the room, the key still didn't work. Besides, the room is quite dirty, it seems haven't been cleaned since last customer checked out. Everything in the room looks old and dirty. This is the worst experience, for hotels, even worse than 2 star or less.

Our stay was for three nights, upon arrival we noticed that one of the rooms had duck tape on the carpet for about a full foot from the door. The mirrors had at least a half inch of dust on them as did the pictures. The hallway had a very strange odor for the whole stay. The bedspread on one of the beds had a big hole in it. The vanity area was very shabby and in need of a paint job. Am just wondering if this is the next hotel to be inploded. The front desk staff was far from friendly and on one occasion quite rude. I have stayed at other properties on the strip and agree that you sure do get what you pay for.

Dont go, unless you like old dirty rooms. The manager was very insulting and could care less whether or not we were satified with our stay. Not worth more then * per night

I went on business and so I just wanted a comfortable room, basic amenities, and close to the strip's nicest hotels where I can eat at nice restaurants and gamble in class. The room rate was unbeatable...very cheap and it was on par with other hotels like the excalibur...location was nice...right before sahara blvd after which the neighborhood just nosedives...so it was close to great hotels like encore and wynn....carpet was stained and air conditioner fan wasn't that powerful but it was clean, good maid service. TV was small and clientele was short of trashy....but room was just fine for the price.

I really enjoy my stay, check in was no problem, The room was better then what I was expecting for the price we paid. The beds were excellent and so was the service there. The only complaint I had was there was not a COFFEE MAKER in room.

Comfortable room without the huge expense that Strip locales are becoming. Quick and easy access to North/South Strip Cat/RTC/Duece Bus (* all day pasess) system as well as a stop right at the Hotel for the Strip Monorail (* all day passes). Fantastic food choices at the Buffet (especially for the value) for only *(with Sahara Club Card, free membership, of course). Fantastically located with shor distance to all Strip locations (except Strat) just to the South and Downtown also just a short location out the doors to the right (pass the Strat and down to Freemont). Good selection of various denomination and types of Slots (wish I would''ve come across the "Dean Martin Wild Party" machines before my last day), reasonable Minimum bet table games, Keno, Poker tournaments, etc.... everything you'd expect to find... or go out and relax by the Pool... Go visit all the other Casinos and see how they have everything over-priced and come back to enjoy the nice folks (guests and workers) at the Sahara... See the "Big" Shows elsewhere (Roseann was not very funny, and IMO not worth ANY price [other than comp]) but enjoy the band at night at the Casbar while playing some nearby penny/nickel slots or relax at a Table... I planned on using the Sahara (for its value) as a good locale to begin/end each day of my stay and to wander to the other Casinos for whatever other action (and I did visit some for sights and sounds) but found I did land up spending most my time there... Convenient, clean, good people, and fun... The Sahara will be my location of choice for my next Vegas trip... If you want to waste money, go ahead and stay elsewhere...

Nothing. Stains on the carpet, furniture was old and worn. Shower was in disrepair. Horrible.

Although we really like this hotels casino and resteraunts, the rooms are very shabby and the showers did not work properly. If you like your Showers either freezing cold or scolding hot, then this is the place for you, if you want a cheap hotel on the strip, and dont mind what it looks like or how clean it is, then this is for you. I was told by another guest that you get what you pay for with this hotel, and that they would not been returning either. As for the casino part of this hotel, it was great.....they do the best deals on the strips, for members, and have plenty of tables and slots. The restaraunts are great, especially the buffet. The next time i go to Vegas, i will book at another hotel, but would definatly go back to this one for the casino and food part! Oh and we never saw one security guard in the 4 days ( including the weekend) sat at his seat by the elevaters to check people that where going up to the rooms!

I was booked through travel website, and when I arrived there was no room listed for me that day. My reservation at the Hotel said I should have been there in June. I had my comfirmation and it showed July. It took me about an hour to get it corrected and get a room. The floor that I stayed on had no working ice machines. There was no microwave nor small regrigator in the room. Parking was not available because of the hotel being a casino which interfered with customers finding a parking space.

- The gambling at the hotel was aawesome. $1 black jack tables, $5 craps tables. Easy access to the monorail to take you to any other hotel on the strip. - All the food at every restaurant within the hotel was good and affordable. The bugget is really good with lots of choices and again it is very affordable. - For the price we got for the room it was a smoking deal. The rooms were just old and lacked a strong AC flow but it provided a bed and it was clean so I guess we can't complain to much.

Out of date andlocation. Staff was friendly, but the casino was dark and out of date.

The Sahara is in need of some renovations. At times, I thought the elevator would just fall apart. They had a nice pool and friendly staff. The buffet was good and decently priced. The hotel had easy close access to the monorail which is nice to get to more fun, newer hotels on the strip. (beware, the monorail does not operate 24 hours a day) I had to wait to get into my room because they had to clean it. Once I got it, it did not look clean. I would probably not stay here again. It would be worth a little extra money to stay somewhere a bit nicer, that is closer to all the action on the strip.
