This hotel is very classy. The staff is a bit slow but they are very friendly. The check in time is a little bit late so if you are planning to get there earlier than your check in, be prepared because chances are they will not give you the room earlier. I loved my stay in the beach, too bad the chairs and umbrellas are not included to the amenities and you had to pay for them. Other than that, my boyfriend and I loved our stay...

Art in public areas. Slow elevators, poor service at front desk, loudA/C in rooms. Overpriced and overrated. Service at front desk upon arrival was slow and rude. Bellman service was also slow as we got to our room, settled a bit and then head back down only to find our luggage in the exact same place as when we originally went up. The room was modernly dressed, but we could hear through to the neighboring rooms all day. The pull out mattress was very flimsy so ended up just sleeping on the couch itself. A/C in the room was ridiculously loud. Drinks were so expensive at the restaurant and bar. Note that a 15% gratuity is automatically added to the bill now - and the servers are not the first to point it out.

The hotel was great. It was small and private. The hotel service was great. The pool servers were not very attentive

I stayed during Memorial Day Weekend and I must say I think this hotel was definetly a great pick!! It's very clean, the room was GREAT!!! I definetly plan to stay here again next year. Any how, staying at this hotel is definetly worth your money.

The Hotel itself is nice, but the service was severely lacking. They initially checked us in to a room that was already occupied by other guests. We went to our room and someone else's stuff was already there. Then the same thing happened to our friends, except they were already in their room when a random guy opened the door around midnight because the front desk had made another error. The workout facilities consist of two treadmills and a stairmaster. But both treadmills were out of order. For some reason, housekeeping refused to leave us towels. We had to call everyday to ask them to bring some up for us. The hotel itself and the rooms are nice and the location is great, but the service was terrible. We'll stay somewhere else next time.

The bungalow and staff were amazing. If I have to say something negative, food and liquor very expensive Had a fantastic time! Staff was more than courteous. Location perfect, beach access was convenient. Bungalow was definitely roomy for 4 girls. The only reason I would not recommend it for families is all of the nude photos in the hallway. Would not want to explain that to my boys!

I have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world, and some top notch hotels in SoBe but, by far this was the absoulte worst! Yes, upon getting to the hotel, they automatically charge the stay of the room to your credit card(beware if you and some friends are planning to split the costs). The staff is none other than pleasant, by far. I have no problem spending the for a top ranked hotel and service. We felt as if we were inconveniencing the staff when asking for service. In our room there was not enough towels, and had to wait a good two hours before recieving some more. we used the hand towels to dry off after bathing. The breakfast was horrible. The room overall was okay, but needed some tweeking. The only upside of the stay was the pool and the pool staff. Never again will we stay here. We are goign to stick with a hotel that prides itself on quality and elegance! The Tides! Trust me you will not regret it!

Hotel was very nice. Drinks were very expensive at the pool and their food chooses were limited. I'm not sure if it was just an off week, but very little activity, outside bar closed early and inside bar seemed to never be staffed or open. They were filming a movie while we had our stay and as it may seem interesting, it really isn't. You felt like you were in the way and it wasn't really nice to have tons of people walking around hotel and the pool while you are trying to relax.

It was different and artistic. Their were several additional fees/taxes at check out that were unexpected. The hotel felt luxurious with excellent staff. The suite was beautiful but the pool area and gym felt small. Spa services were good.

When we arrived, we were informed we had no room. Even though the hotel was not listed in the top 5 party hotels, they have a disco in the lobby. It was loud and ready for action when we got there. People were coming in and out that were not guests of the hotel. We were not up for a party at 11:30 p.m. after traveling all day and dealing with a time change. The hotel manager was sorry they had overbooked their rooms and found us a room next door at the Ritz Carlton. We were ready to pay for the Sagamore as it seemed very chic. The Ritz was a little cheaper, but they know how to treat their guests. We were given a King size bed even though the Sagamore told us there were none. While the Sagamore offered to take us back on Sunday night, at that point we were so happy at the Ritz we did not want to move. I think people should know that the place is not as luxurious as they make it out to be and it is quite a happening place for those who are not quests of the hotel.

We were looking for a weekend get away and after booking the hotel we came across some reviews that weren't so great so needless to say I was nervous when we were checking in. We had an early flight and we were able to check-in our bags and walk around the town. They called us at 1pm to let us know our room was ready which I was amazed since check-in wasn't until 3pm. However when we went to get the keys to the room they had us down for the wrong type of room. Make sure you check that so you get what you paid for!! We had no problem after I showed the front desk my reservation that I printed off that listed the type of room we had paid for. The room was very nice but you could tell that the furnishings had been there a little while but it was still very clean and nice. The pool was nice but a little small and there were not many chairs so you need to go early to get one. And also be aware that if you go to the beach there is a fee for the beach chairs. On Sunday while at the beach we were unaware of a hugh pool party going on at our pool. I guess it happens every Sunday through June 28th. It was a lot of people, a lot of drinking, a lot of dancing and a great time! If you are looking for a quiet trip make sure you don't stay on a sunday. The location was great. We were in a less busy part but a short walk to all the bars, cafes and shopping. The outdoor Lincoln Mall was right down the street and is great place to go! Overall it was a great trip and I would definitely going again.

Nice to have a suite! Room service took longer than I had hoped. Only a very short stay, but very impressed overall. Suite was excellent and very comfortable, breakfast also to a high standard. Hotel facilities looked superb, although didn't get a chance to use many.

I have enjoyed many stays in SOBE and this was one of the best. The rooms cater to every detail and make you feel at home. Unfortunately the desk staff are not as pleasant. Even though I booked through the hotel, I was forced on arrival to reserve 1,500 on my credit card for any potential incidental cost. Although I understood the reasoning, I was never told this when I booked. So just make sure you confirm your cost when you make the reservation!! As I said, the desk staff are not pleasant to deal with. However, the bell hop and bartender were the best!!!

The hotel itself was great, and I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful (including a couple of great bartenders). The location is fantastic. The one drawback for me was some of the other guests. The hotel seems to cater to a younger, partygoing sort of crowd, which meant we were woken two nights in a row at 3 am by the drunken girls staying next door. The poolside bar, also, was quite a scene. If that's what you're looking for, you'll like this place. However, if you like relaxation and prefer a more mature demographic, try the Ritz next door.

Beautiful location, beautiful resort, friendly people. There wasn't anything not to like. This is by far one of the nicest hotels/resorts I have stayed at. Though the outside of this building is older looking, the inside has a sleek clean modern decor and the staff is top notch. The pool area and access to the beach are divine.

The hotel staff was initially very courteous, giving us complimentary drinks and a complimentary brunch on Mother's Day while we waited for our room to become available (we had arrived at 1230 and check-in is at 1500). However, the restaurant manager did not believe the voucher for the brunch and made us prove it by making us go to the front desk or just pay. The hotel atmosphere was very sleek, modern, great contemporary art collection, with hip lounge music playing. The pool area is fantastic! Great atmosphere, great service preparing lounge chairs, great music! Very relaxing! There were several things overlooked in the room: very dusty vents, pencil markings from prior construction everywhere, scratchy robes, broken lamps, etc...

Modern, hip, luxurious, all at a great price We were given a handicap accessable room by default The Sagamore was excellent, we were very pleased with everything. Only negative (and it is very slight) is that we received a handicap accessable room by default. This was probably because the hotel was heavily booked, during a busy tourist season. But we can't complain too much, because we stayed at a hip, luxurious hotel, during a very busy time, for over 50% off the regular rate!

My sisters and I stayed at the Sagamore in July. The suite was spacious, quite, clean and ideal for the three of us. We had a view of the street and enjoyed people watching. We were amused by the lobby decor. The morning breakfast had a lot of variety to suit all of our different needs and taste. I particularly like the freshly maded omlette. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!
