The spa features are great. Love the staff. This was my second stay at the hotel, and not my last. I had a beautiful room overlooking Tampa Bay. Didn't miss anything. The restaurant in the hotel is great. Lots of fun shops and local restaurants in walking distance.

Beautiful spa and very nice surroundings outside. Kids not allowed in indoor pool or spa.

usually in a hotel you either have a fridge and micro or a mini bar. this hotel had none. so buy a cooler for drink and some snacks room service and bar close at 11. you would think at the price they are charging you'd have a full mini bar. saw no snack machine either. i tried to get a upgrade but being superbowl weekend they were full. i wouldn't stay in the parcal view again for the price it wasn't worth it but i would go back and stay in a nicer room. people were very nice, rooms clean and bed was great. again though for the price it should have been better.

This place is a true "diamond in the rough"!! My sister-in-law and I came here for some much needed R&R and pampering. That is exactly what we got! The weather, rooms, spa facility and pool were excellent! The service was great! I guess the only complaint we have is that we wanted to stay longer. If you are looking for some down time with no kids, this is the place for you. Be sure to check-out the local restauants in the downtown area, which are within walking distance. If you want to head to Clearwater beach its about a 20 minute drive. We are planning on going back soon!!

For the price, it was a great deal. I came in June, so Im pretty sure it would have been more expensive during tourist season. I had to go to Tampa Airport, and that was not difficult to get to. I only stayed one night. Alot to do within the resort and around town. I would stay there again.

Location. Musty rooms, dinghy hall ways and old elevators. Location is great, nice few and friendly staff rooms have been remodeled but they still need to do quite a bit of updating in the main areas, hallways and elevators. Old hotel I realize but nothing that a few good coats of paint might help.

I always stay at the Safety Harbor Resort & Spa when I travel to Clearwater/Tampa Florida for business instead of the hotels that are recommended. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very poilte. The beds are beyond comfortable. 17" pillow top European matress. I slept like a baby the very first time I stayed and it has been the same the last few times as well. The view of harbor is absolutely beautiful. I love to wake up in the morning, step out onto the balcony and watch the sun rise. The rooms are huge, beautiful & modern, including the bathrooms. Very European. The showers are wonderful. The resort has several pools, spa, etc.. My colleauges who attend the same conventions that I attend always say..."why didn't you tell me about this place sooner?" Once they stay they are hooked. I travel to Tampa for business only but I have friends who vacation there and this is where they are now staying. It really is beautiful. The restaurant is great....both the food and service are excellent....excellent....elegant and romantic. I had a massage at the spa this last time that I was there....absolutley wonderful. My stay overall was fabulous... and the best part is.... it was all at the right price... some of the other hotels in the area that are far more expensive that shouldn't be....truly do not compare to Safety Harbor... What more can I say?

My sister and I went just for a long weekend and have a wonderful time here. The location was very nice. This is a great place to relax. Only 20 minutes from Clearwater beach and the same to Tampa Airport. I will plan another visit next year. The one and only complaint I have is that I wish they would play some music at the tiki bar at the pool. Our massage and facial was also wonderful. Staff was so friendly.

This is a beautiful hotel in a sleepy little town close to Clearwater. We loved the downtown which is steps from the Resort. The location of the resort is beautifully situated on Tampa Bay and the views are fantastic. It rained the whole time we were there, but this did not dampen our enthusiasm. I took my adult daughter for a very satisfying few days of R&R. We loved the classes and all of the resort amenities. The spa is currently undergoing some renovations which will make it even better, however the work currently being done did not interfere with our activities there whatsoever. We'll definitely plan to go back to this facility again!

Location and community. Older section of hotel where our room was located, the hallways needed painting and the carpet refreshed. No hair dryer & internet weak. Pleasantly refurbished for an older hotel. Historical, with an excellent waterfront and pool area. Many community activities hosted there at the hotel - a concert on the beach while we were there.

We had a bay front room in the older section that was well appointed and clean. Pool and grounds were ok but watch the locals at the pool bar. SPA and fitness center were acceptable. Restaurants were good but the service could use an upgrade. A nice quiet location with an easy walk to a quaint little town.

best place for relaxing first class stay. Everything was perfect, the bed oh my god, the bed! Never stayed anywhere that catered to relaxation and destressing as this hotel. I am coming back!

great location and amenities. the pool was great but it was filled with 10-15 small screaming children at any given point. I was unaware that the neighboring residents could buy membership and bring their children at any time. They were not properly supervised and ruined the stay for the hotel guests!

It was BEAUTIFUL! The staff was friendly and helpful from the time we stepped out of the car. This hotel was an excellent place to stay! This was a beautiful resort with spacious rooms, courteous staff and pristine grounds!

This is a wonderful and historic spa hotel, the area has been is use as a health spa since before the Spanish explorers. The hotel is quiet and restful, with excellent facilites for health, beauty, and relaxation. Highly recommend for couples looking to get away and relax.

The lunch server was friendly, attentive, and wonderful. That was all the good. Where to start. Upgraded to a suite for one of the rooms the jets fell off the wall in the shower. Had amenities sent to the room for my mom there were a couple pieces of cheese those were barely assembled in an attractive fashion, not even close to worth. There was no bed skirt on my bed looked tacky seeing the box spring. There was construction going on during my massage, even you could hear the music from all of the neighboring treatment rooms classical, chanting, and new age. Fine individually not together. I can't begin to say how horrible dinner service was I can't believe they actually made me pay for dinner for 3 adults. He even made us box our own left overs! They didn't know the specials, took 15 min to write them down, and tell them to us. It got worse. No one wanted to go to brunch the next morning after the shoddy dinner service got room service, and found an eggshell in the eggs Benedict (they had initially forgotten the order, so i guess someone was rushing)that was so gross! The younger girls at the front desk while I was there all had no care about personal appearance their shirts didn't fit, their hair was all over the place, and it was bad. If they care that little about their appearance, how can they care about their place of work? So I told the front desk manager this, and she said that this would all be addressed prior to my card being charged, guess what no call, and card charged.

Here in the area to research historical sites, I combined with vacation and found the most perfect place. This resort is uncrowded, unhurried... I felt pampered in every way. The facilities are clean, relaxing and easy to enjoy. Staff is helpful & friendly without exeption.I never felt like I was just someone to "make a buck off" and same goes for the whole town. The stay in a resort full of natural spring water treatments is an exceptional deal, refurbished rooms lovely....everything great!

We went to the beach, Busch Gardens and local dinning. It would have been even better if the beach was cleaner next to the hotel. This was a great place to come to relax.

Safety Harbor Hotel was so beautiful. It had a majestic feel to it. It almost feels like a museum! As luxurious as the hotel appears to be, the parking lot should be upgraded from its current dirt and gravel. This hotel was really beautiful! It reminded me of an older museum with amazing artistry on the ceilings and along the walls. The hotel has a history behind it. There are numerous ballrooms! Multiple indoor and outdoor pools! It has an amphitheater! The facility even has a zen garden! It truly is an amazing place. There is a resort fee of $16.99 for your stay! However, this resort fee covers the spa amenities which are fantastic. The hotel offers hourly classes (yoga, salsa, spin class, etc). And, most importantly, whereas most other hotels require you to check out at 11:00 am and vacate the hotel, Safety Harbor allows you to stay and still enjoy the facilities for 24 hours!
