When we go to Boise (four or five times a year), we always stay at the Safari, mostly for its location. We walk to everything downtown--the Flicks, the great restaurant scene, Hyde Park, the Co-op and so forth--and use the car only if we're going to Shakespeare or the mall. The rooms are fine and the price is acceptable in a world where $90 for a moderate hotel room is almost a bargain.

The safari inn was a great way to end an Idaho mountain vacation. In the heart of downtown so I could explore downtown, eat great food and take in a little live music, all within walking distance. Lowest price of downtown hotels. Very clean, staff great. Computer available for us to check the stastus of our flight into a hurrican in Houston. Good selection of danishes at breakfast and free airport shuttle summed it up for an easy trip.

Location. Parking. It met our needs, was centrally located and was clean and friendly. We had to park on the street the second night, which was unsettling.

We love coming here. We were here 3 years ago and the upgrades were wonderful. We had a great time. the little things made a big difference, breakfast, newspapers, coffee, shampoo, conditioner and soaps rocked - all higher quality you would expect at a much higher priced hotel.

Although our room was spacious and comfortable enough, the street noise from below made sleeping (and napping for our toddler daughter) difficult. Inconsiderate housekeeping staff ignored our privacy please sign (during afternoon nap time) and knocked, then called (!) before trying to come right in! Needless to say, that nap was nonexistent. The location is convenient -- we walked wherever we needed to go downtown. Continental breakfast consisted of stale bagels and the like. Front-desk staff were effective, but could have been more courteous.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a very clean hoela. It is vary apparent the owner takes great pride in the hotel and is alwyas upgrading.

Overall, excellent experience -- I was dissapointed in the juice selection provided at continental breakfast, but had some good coffee instead, Plus, free cookies in the afternoon was a great snack!

This was a very plesant find while looking for a place to stay downtown. Rates seemed very reasonable in relation to others and well worth it. I came in late, and had to leave early - wish I could spend some more time!

My stay was pleasent. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in walking distance to all of downtown only a couple of blocks away. the price was the most affordable and the Best Value for downtown. The downtown Hotels pricing way to high. Keep the value and keep the motel full. Keep it up. Make reservations at least two weeks in advance.

"I had my 3 younger siblings visiting and I rented a room to be with in walking distance of movies, dining, and shopping so they could experience Boise. We had a great time!! The pool is awesome!! The desk clerk recomeded an excellent restaurant that even as a resident of Boise I didn't know about! The service was wonderful. Everything was so clean and amazing, I will be back!!!!!!"
