A very relaxed timeshare resort popular for its excellent golf course and lovely setting on the Sabie River. The reception, restaurant and bar have just undergone a major refurbishment and the new modern design brings a stylish African theme to the hotel. Rooms are still simple and slightly dated, but the location and setting make it a great place to stay. The golf course is one of the best in the area and has pools with Hippos in them! Just a few kms outside Hazyview on the road to Sabie and just a 10 minute drive to the Kruger National Park, the Sabi River Sun sits on the Sabie River and is spread over acres of land and has an excellent golf course. A very nice modern restaurant overlooking the outdoor pool and golf course. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here. The rooms are located in a building block whilst the public areas are part of the thatched entrance to the resort. A stylish lobby with high ceiling, African art on display and a tall white fireplace in front the of the curved reception desk.
