On arrival we found it to be a poor reception only two people on reception and they didnt appear to be able to cope.The receptionist had to bring our bags up from the car after it was valeted to an of site park and we had to wait a considerable time for our bags to come to our room which was not realy satisfactory when you have travelled for 16hrs and want to shower and change clothes.Bathroom door paint had come of and wood had deteriated,generally the furnishings and fittings needed upgrading all looked a bit tired.

Business centre had a really old computer which was not working. Public computer access was not available in the foyer either because of a glitch.

Very good hotel, It is woth joining the free priority club before you go as you get 20% off all food and 50% of internet charges, just go to there web site! Excellent reception staff, conceirge disappears when he sees luggage!! The park ten minutes walk from the hotel is a must see. great location. Will reccommend.

Pleasant place to stay with good services and clean rooms. The hotel room door could be better soundproof from noise. Best rooms face west with views of the Southern Alps and beautiful sunsets. Staff very helpful.

Great location close to many restaurants/bars and downtown areas. Beautifully appointed rooms, but no gym or pool/spa in building. Free shuttle to train station in the morning was nice as well.

Given a room on the outer edge so very quiet - large and comfortable bed - staff really friendly. Only downside was the NZ$18 it cost to park the car overnight - $24 if you valet park it. Would stay there again.

Stayed here on arrival and prior to leaving New Zealand . Friendly, helpful staff, great location and comfy beds all at a good rate. Would recommend.
