a good quality hotel in the centre of Nottinghamvery good location for everything. a castle is just behind a corner, a shoping centre is close too. the railway station is 15min of walking distance , passing a buss station. it was necessary to pay for a parking and for the internet, which i can see as minus points for this hotel.

Don't miss the happy hour. 5pm till 7pmI stay here quite regularly. the happy hour makes me stay in the hotel instead of looking elsewhere for food or drink. All the staff, surroundings and quality of food & drink is excellent.

Buisiness userI have been using this hotel for almost 2 years now while on buisiness in Nottingham, there are many other hotels in Nottingham but this one has the best chance of being able to accommodate your car!! sounds like not the best reason for using a particular hotel but it makes a world of difference if you carry tools and equipment in your vehicle. There have been thefts from cars in this area...but that happens everywhere these days, and after a hard day at work I prefer not to drive around looking for parking. My one gripe about this hotel is sometimes the noise from the nearby bars can get a bit much ,but it is a price you pay for being so close to all the "good stuff "on offer in Nottingham.

Fantastic Service!Great experience. Room was a little small but had everything I needed. And really that is the only thing I can mention thats not glowing. Service of all the staff (reception, restaurant, cleaning, bar) was brilliant! I very impressed with the whole experience and will happily recommend to anyone.

City centre hotelNice city center hotel ideally situated, not the best view at rear facing seedy car park, but ok if spending weekend in Nottingham with mates and are not planning to spend to much time in hotel.

I was booked as a single and the room was en-suite with a double bed which was perfectly adequate though it would have been crowded for two (and had only one chair - again OK for me). The breakfast (waitress service Sat and self-service Sun) was very good. I paid £40 and felt this was good value for a single. My colleagues had booked a special deal through the hotel and were payiing £60 for singles (normal price £80).

Good location for city centre without being noisyI stayed here B & B on a Monday night with my 18 year old daughter. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the city and there are some parking spaces in front of the hotel at £6 a night, or a multi storey car park next door (about £15 a night I think). The furnishings were rather dated and tired, especially the bathrooms, but it was clean. I asked to change rooms when I first arrived and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Beware some of the rooms look onto the multi storey car park! Having said that, it was quiet, being mostly surrounded by offices. At breakfast there was plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurts and the usual cereals, pastries etc and the cooked breakfast was fine. Again the staff were very friendly. Overall it was basic but adequate for our needs and I felt we got what we paid for.

Great ValueWoW. This hotel now has a 2 hour happy hour every night. I usually go into town for drinks and dinner but the happy hour in the hotel was cheaper than the bars in town and also had a better ambiance away fron the drunks. Because of this I also stayed for dinner for the first time, which was very good.A Great experience. I didn't want to go home. my room 611 was spacious and comfortable.

One night stayI come to Nottingham now and then for business and use this hotel as it's good value with Laterooms especially as you get a very good breakfast thrown in. The staff are always very friendly and they gave me a room upgrade as it was quiet that night. The room had views across the castle and Nottingham. Altogether a very pleasant stay

The heating for my room was not working on arrival, which meant a cold night. Apart from that the hotel was very nice to stay in, the staff were excellent and very friendly who had time for you which is not usually the case at other hotels.
