The Russott Hotel Venice is a part of the new San Giuliano Park. It is near the Venice Historical Centre and a 10 minute drive from the downtown zone.

The Russott Hotel Venice is a 10 minute bus ride from downtown Venice. The hotel also offers a shuttle service into town and it is 10 minutes to the airport.

The directions to the hotel as per the web site instructions were terrible - needs to be re-written for anyone attempting to find it by car. Quick public transport to Venice and back, only 10 minutes (hotel offers transfer bus but at a high price compared to public transport). Nice park at rear of hotel with good view of Venice. Room OK, bar and restaurant worked OK but its somewhat of a business hotel so functional rather than charming.

This is a budget hotel with pretty good facilities. For an old city is quiet modern. It is perfectly located. It is 15 minutes from the airport and about 10 minutes, by bus, to Plaza de Roma, from where you can take vaporettos (boats) to basically every place, including the small islands like Murano. There are two bus stops in the avenue in front of the hotel. The hotel has ample parking and conference and convention facilities too. Room service is great and the complimentary breakfast buffet is an excellent way to start your day.When we visit Venice again, this would be our first option.

Just would like to let to know to all future visitors that near the hotel is located bus station and to Venice operate bus no. 5 and 19. Bus ticket can be bought from the driver and costs are 1.80€ per ticket one way. Means that there is no way to get a bus ticket by reception desk. Bus atation is located near Gas station located behind of hotel - direction to the MP Airport - 5 minutes walk. Very nice connection. Hotel service and location are absolutelly perfect compairing with acom costs.Breakfast as well very good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the 'Russott'. It was close to the bus line. We were about 5 minutes from Venice! The price was right and the staff was wonderful. We would stay here again... Mahalo! Sandy and Junie... :)

In my opinion this hotel is the best choice for this price. The hotel room was absolutely comfortable and also very elegant (king size bed, LCD TV, remote control for the light). The breakfast was simple with no frill but croisant was very delicious. ( : You can reach Venice without the Hotel bus (8 euro) service too. Just cross the motorway and get on the No 12 bus Scheduled bus. It is the cheapest way to the city center (1,5 euro).

We had been staying at many Rick Steves recomended hotels in Spain until we got here and it was like a breath of fresh air to have a stay in a USA type setting/amenities. We especially liked having 3 0r 4 English speaking channels on our TV. We bought the continental breakfast plan with our room and it was very confusing what we could and couldn't eat in the dinning room. What we did have was very good though.

good value for money Good location for those who does not want spend lot of money for the accomodation but still want be close to the city center. It is one bus stop (name of it is Via Orlanda) from the piazza de Roma and it takes you about 10-15 minutes to get there (buses #5 and 19). If you want to get to this hotel from the railway station you need to take bus #9 but you will need to ask driver to stop the bus on Via Orlanda by the Russot hotel (it stops there only on demand).

Great location! Hotel was clean and the room was large. The included breakfast was ok, but not great. Free parking was a plus!

Carpets, chairs, curtains should be renewed. We were expecting more for a 4 star hotel. But, the staff were good and helpful especially in the breakfast room.
