What transport is available to get around?

Water trips pick up passenger at the Wharf, 5 minutes' walking from property. At the wharf also, passenger ferries (every 20 minutes) take passenger to Paihia from which all the buses depart. Airport (Kerikeri) is situated 45 minutes away, shuttle to Paihia, ferry to Russell or taxis available to book.

Do you provide parking?

Each of our cottages have 2 parking spaces allocated.

What are your breakfast options?

There is no restaurant on property, but continental breakfast hampers are available at $20.
There are also 2 cafes, 1 hotel restaurant opening at 8:00am within 5 minutes walk, costs are from $15 to $30 from menu.

What can I do nearby?

Russell is situated on a peninsula. It is a small historic town and everything is within walking distance. Russell Cottages is situated right in town. All restaurants, cafes, galleries, shops are only minutes away. The best beach is 15 minutes' walking away, the waterfront, lined with cafes and restaurants where one can swim also is 5 minutes' walking away.

We have swimming pool and a spa on premises. There are lots of water tours/activities and history.

Mostly it is a quieter kind of place except at the height of summer when the different pub/clubs put on some entertainment (bands), then it is quite loud till midnight.

Do you have internet?

Not all cottages have cabled internet, better to request it on booking. Wireless is available at pool house 24/7 or reception between 8:00am and 6:00pm. It is priced by consumption:
-$5 plan - 10 Mb allocation (30c per Mb after allocation)
-$10 plan - 50 Mb allocation (5c per Mb after allocation)
-$25 plan - 1000 Mb allocation (10c per Mb after allocation)
