Rung Arun Resort Koh Phangan

Rung Arun Resort on Koh Phangan is designed to be in harmony with its natural surrounding and is situated along the beautiful white sandy beach of Ban Tai. The resort is not far from Haad Rin where the world famous full moon party takes place.

Our bungalows are located on the beach alongside our fine open air restaurant. Between the bungalows and the beach we have landscaped our gardens for you to relax enjoy the sun or go for a swim. Our cottages are scattered over the sweeping hillside, surrounded by tropical plants and shaded by swaying coconut palms.

Rung Arun is set within one acre of private grounds that have been landscaped to provide a natural, beautiful and private environment. The twelve bungalows are all located at the beach front surrounding the swimming pool area for ease of access. The bungalows are shaded by palms and tropical plants with verandas that offer views over the ocean to Koh Samui.

Rung Arun Resort offers superb bungalows that are all very similar in design but vary in size and positioning. This is reflected in the different pricing structures. With just twelve bungalows on the grounds personal space is assured for our guests and this is an absolute priority.

The views at Rung Arun are amazing – not just over Koh Samui but along the Ban Tai beach which stretches past Ban Kai beach and onto the Haad Rin peninsula in the very far distance. At night guests can wander from bungalow to bungalow and beach bar to beach bar enjoying a leisurely stroll.

Ban Tai is connected to Ban Kai beach and this stretch of coast meanders for miles parallel to the Koh Samui coastline with fabulous sunsets and amazing daytime views. The full moon party is just twenty minutes drive and the half moon party just five minutes walk.
