A luxury short breakAlthough we only stayed one night, we were very impressed with the hotel. The Reception staff were very friendly, the bedroom was very pleasant and quiet, our dinner and breakfast were delicious and the surroundings lovely. We would recommend the hotel very highly and will look forward to a return visit.

Harrogate StarFrom arriving to leaving the hotel, nothing was any trouble to the very attentive staff. Wonderful ethos about the place, lovely room with one of the comfiest beds i have ever had the pleasure to sleep in. I am in different hotels EVERY week, some 45 weeks of the year and this was the finest stay in a british hotel this year. Great food, wonderful golf and very good value for money, if they would only open another 20 across the country, they would have my money full time.

This hotel and staff are 1st class in every wayWe have stayed in many hotels throughout the uk over the past few years but this hotel far surpassed any of them, it is abolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive at the entrance you will be wowed by the whole experience. I booked this as a surprise for our wedding anniversary and the gentleman on reception(Luis) was extremely helpful when I rang to enquire about the rooms available. When we arrived he also greeted us in a very proffessional friendly manner and we were escorted to our room which was to say the least "1st clss" it was an executive room decorated to a very high standard. The little massage wooden toy was a lovely touch as was the weather forecast for the following day. The room was very spacious and my hubby loved the tv with all the cds to choose from, this is the first time we have ever seen this in a hotel, and what a nice touch it is. I loved the molton Brown toiletries. We were very amazed to see a bottle of champagne awaiting us and a lovely little greeting card wishing us a happy anniversary and a pleasant stay, this was really appreciated and we totally didnt expect this at all. (thank you Luis, I think he was the manager on duty that evening) Our dinner reservation was booked and as soon as we entered the restaurant a friendly waiter welcomed us and new of our booking! Wow what service . The meal we had was lovely a three course picked from the a la carte. We had a wander around the georgeous grounds which are well kept and the views from the hotel ovelooking the golf course and grounds are breathtaking. What we noticed most about this wonderful place is the outstanding staff, everyone is so helpful and they cant do enough for you. Who ever is in charge of their training has got it spot on. We have never experienced the same level of service from all staff throughout a hotel, well done. The request for foam pillows was immeadiately adhered to and we had a lovely nights sleep. This is a top rate hotel. Spoilt on this ocassion by guests returning at all hours (up to 2.30am) probably from a wedding on site and allowing their door to slam and talking in loud voices in the corridors. One would have hoped that guests in a hotel of this quality would have had more considerationm for others.

"Ruddy" AmazingWe found this hotel to be first class, one of the best we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. The setting of the hotel within the grounds was beautiful and very close to Harrogate Town Centre. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and could not do enough for us. Overall this was a delightful place to stay and we would love to stay again and have already recommended it to other friends.

superb night away for a very cheap rate (SUNDAY night for one night0This hotel exceeds all expectations- the setting is superb, the staff extremely helpful and courteous- nothing is too much trouble- and it really is a 5* accommodation at a very reasonable rate if booked near to departure (I booked our night away about 2 weeks before)- the hotel is very convenient for the lovely spa town of Harrogate - well worth a visit. We treated ourselves to a meal in the restaurant which was superb.Breakfast was included in the deal and was extremely good, waitress served - again service second to none. I highly recommend this hotel.

Quiet, Calm and TranquilA really lovely hotel with wonderful staff and excellent service. Their attention to customer service is quite rare these days in many English hotels but they excelled in this department.

Awesome!Quite simply one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Flawless service from staff who really appear to enjoy making your stay an absolute pleasure. Rudding Park should close it's doors and turn itself in to a global training centre for the hotel industry. Absolutely brilliant.

fantastic hotelwe could not fault this hotel. Staff were very friendly and did all they could to ensure our stay was enjoyed. Restaurant was a little expensive and food portions were not very big but the food quality and atmosphere may it worth every penny

All staff extremely polite, helpful and friendly. Hotel very well presented and spotlessly clean in all areas. Lovely country setting only 10 minutes drive from centre of Harrogate. Would certainly stay again although £17.50 for a brandy & ginger ale and a bacardi and coke does seem excessive.\r\n\r\nManagement Response\r\n\r\nThank you for your recent stay at Rudding Park, and for taking the time to write a review. We were delighted to read your many positive comments, however we were very sorry to hear that you found our bar prices excessive. We believe that we offer competitive prices for the levels of service that we provide, and we frequently look at our competition to ensure that our prices are in line with other hotels in the area.\r\n\r\nHaving looked at your bill I believe that you were served a more expensive brand of rum than Bacardi. This was an error on our part, for which I would like to apologise and also assure you that this is not reflective of our usual high standards.\r\n\r\nOnce again thank you for your positive review and we are delighted to know that you will stay again with us soon, please do not hesitate to contact me directly so that I can oversee your reservation and organise a complimentary bottle of Champagne to hopefully rectify our mistake and reaffirm your faith in us.

Heaven! If you are thinking of running a luxury hotel and looking for guidance go and stay at Rudding Park. They've got it right. Everything you could possibly want and some things you didn't even know you might want have been thought of. Staying there made us feel like we were treasured guests, all the staff smiling and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Wonderful spacious comfortable room, in our case leading onto a terrace and the beautiful immaculate landscaped gardens filled with flowers and views over Yorkshire. Breakfast was the most delicious we've ever had. We came away saying the hotel was faultless. Don't hesitate - GO!!
